Fabulous and friendly local Italian The pizzas are so good!!

OK food. Not in any way special, but also not bad. Pizza had a thin crust with nice charring, but was very greasy and lacked fresh basil. Veal Milanese was slightly overcooked, quite greasy, and under-seasoned. It had the traditional accompaniment of capelli d'angelo served with a tomato sauce, which was quite nice. Veal with mushroom and cream sauce was a generous portion that came with potatoes and vegetables. The sauce was pretty good, but the potatoes were slightly undercooked and the veal was very overcooked. One guest had a seafood risotto, which had a good flavour, although not all of the mussels had opened, and the prawns hadn't been de-shelled (head still on is fine, but shell still on is a bit sloppy). Overall, the meal was perfectly passable, but not more than that. I wouldn't recommend it, but nor would I go out of my way to dissuade people from going.
