Found this place by an accident, but I'm so happy we did! At first it looked too pricey for us, as there were hardly any people there and there was a waiter standing outside the door, but they had a menu by the door and after consulting it the waiter asked if we wanted a table for two. Friendly staff, asked us if this table would be okay for us, food arrived quickly, staff checked up on how we were doing throughout, and food tasted absolutely amazing! The vegetarian pasta dish wasn't too large and I didn't get completely full but the taste made up for it! Definitely returning
It takes real skill to make a good gnocchi, and the kitchen staff here have skill aplenty. The daily specials are good value, the decor is clean and contemporary, and the staff are friendly. A very pleasant dining experience.
Excellent service, beautiful food.
The restaurant is great. Nice atmosphere, great service and they're quick to bring food out. The starters were superb and across both the starters and the mains the portion sizes are ample. Pork belly, normally, is a soft affair and very easy to eat. This pork belly was either fired in a kiln or it was recovered from Pompeii after Vesuvius kicked off in AD 79. It was tough and, sharing the same consistency as a breeze block, was challenging at best to get through with a butter knife. A steak knife helped but after realising the impending risk of requiring immediate assistance from a dentist, the ordeal was abandoned. The mash, sauce and greens were great. The pork scratching, not so much.
Been here a few times and every time it's amazing. I'm dairy free now allergy, and as everything is made from scratch, it was no problem at all to tweak my choice. Great 2 course deal too. We were all very happy with our choices, the service was quick and the guys were all really friendly
Very busy and they struggled. Starters were nice but we only got 2 out of 3, and had to wait ages for the 3rd. They then tried to bring us the mains while we were still eating the starter. The pasta was very overcooked! This place was cheap, but that was the only good thing.
Really nice set menu for lunch. Service good but a little slow at times. The restaurant was immaculately clean and food was authentic - standard Italian fare done well and with good flavour. Nice coffees to finish as well.
Nice modern interior and friendly staff. Lunch time deals were good but there were multiple deals to choose from which got a bit confusing. Food was average, one order was made incorrectly at first. Pesto and brocolli gnocchi tasted very strongly of garlic and not at all of Pesto! We were also overcharged on the bill.
This Italian is hands down the best food of its type I have ever had, I go regularly and it never disappoints. They do 2 courses for £8.95. The tiramisu is world class hand made, and you get a big helping. Also the staff are excellent.
Unpleasant experience, very unaccomadating and Sloppy staff. Not sure if the diners were racists possibly some of the staff also as I walked in with my family and mixed race young children. All the diners were staring at us for ages. The food was very average. Couldn't wait to leave.
