Excellent food and presented lovely. Would certainly recommend.

This isn't a cutting edge or trendy restaurant, in fact it's quite old fashioned but I mean that as a compliment. They concentrate on sound, classic cooking using fine quality local ingredients including excellent lamb and beef. There's a well-chosen wine list, good sized portions, friendly service and very decent prices. Hard to fault. Justifiably popular, so make sure you book.

Really, one of the best meals we've had, and we've had a lot. Simply great food, lovely atmosphere and very nice staff. 

Excellent value too. Very, very highly recommended if you are in town.
