Many chef overcooked mussel and fish but they have good chef with love for food working here! Amazing!!nnThe seafood chowder was the star!!nnThe calamari is very Cantonese inspired!! Whether you're visiting on a sunny afternoon or during a dramatic Welsh sunset, the scenery alone is worth the trip.nnDuring our visit, we tried the soup, pizza, and crispy squid starter, and every dish was excellent. The soup was comforting and full of flavour, the pizza was freshly made with a perfectly crisp base, and the squid was cooked beautifully – tender inside with a light, crispy coating. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented.nnThe atmosphere is modern yet welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being busy. You can tell there is real attention to detail, both in the kitchen and in the overall dining experience.nnDylan's has built a reputation for showcasing quality Welsh produce, and it certainly lives up to it. It's the kind of place where the food, location, and service combine to create a memorable experience.nnIf you're visiting Criccieth, Dylan's is an absolute must-visit. Fabulous location, right by the beach. Loved the interior bar area which was stunning. The food was nice although slightly pricey for the type of restaurant. I felt it couldn't make it's mind up whether it was an American Diner or a local family Italian.....it kind of ends up being neither and I felt personally that it needs a very distinctive identity. We went because it had been recommended as an excellent restaurant, but we were looking for high end, with tablecloths and candles . Still, the food was edible, the location stunning and the weather was perfect

Absolutely stunning location with sea views. Incredible art deco architecture. Such a lovely visit both one day for drinks and the following day for brunch. The waiter was exceptional- great local knowledge and answered lots of questions about the building and also food. Very friendly and attentive. The cocktails - garden cocktail and Bloody Mary were excellent. Food was simply amazing- Korean chicken waffles , mussels and calamari- great portion sizes and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend if visiting the area.

Whilst enjoying a half-term break, my family and I decided to have dinner by the seafront in Criccieth — and we were not disappointed.nnWe were served by two members of staff, both of whom were extremely helpful, especially as we had a few questions about the area as we’re planning to move here. Nicole was fantastic; she made time for us, made us feel genuinely welcome, and even as the restaurant became busier, she ensured all our questions were answered while sharing insight into everything the area has to offer.nnThe food portions were generous, with a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options to suit our needs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals — everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly.nnWe will definitely be returning.
