Lovely country pub over the road from Shustoke reservoir. Great menu wonderful food served by lovely people. The steaks are first class.

This is my local pub which has recently been renovated to a high standard . The landlord and staff are always friendly and helpful has become very popular so advise booking if going to eat at the weekend. A very good selection of cask conditioned ales.

We take our disabled relatives and always pre book letting them know how much space we need for wheelchair etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful they don't mind you rearranging the tables to suit you. They always have time for a quick chat which makes our parents day. Food is always well cooked, hot and tasty but not that many choices for vegetarians. The children and adults love having a look at the rabbits and birds in the avery by the back entrance. No outside play area but plenty of parking spaces and we can have a walk before dinner in the surrounding countryside.

Nice country pub, good beer, basic menu reasonably priced. Clean, nice ambience. Cheerful friendly staff. Even the natives are friendly. Worth the effort

A nice country pub with open fires in the winter. Food is good quality and reasonably priced with a good range of Real Ale cider and lagers. Close to Shustoke Reservoir which has public access to walk.
