Outstanding experience at plaza pizza! The kebab meat was tender and packed with flavor, and the salad was fresh and crisp, a perfect complement. The BEST PIZZA PLACE in town! The pizza was delivered piping hot and the cheese was melting like a dream! The onion rings and mozzarella sticks where SURPRISINGLY HOT AND CRISPY till the time they arrived at home!! The best pizza place. Gonna order from them every single time! Absolutely disgusting i paid £22.50 for bacon cheeseburger it came with quarter slice of bacon an nothing else couple chips and paid £3 for cheese cake paid £5.90 for a strawberry milkshake that is not safe to drink was not in safe packaging the drive could have drank out of it or ANYTHING!! Ordered after midnight and arrived within an hour despite being all the way up in Blyth. Food was still scorching hot and the drinks were cold. Genuinely arrived faster than anywhere local and with much better service. Worth every penny.Food: 5/5

Ordering was seamless, even for a visitor like myself, thanks to their helpful staff who were happy to assist with recommendations. As I waited for my order, I couldn't help but admire the cozy atmosphere and friendly vibes of the place. When my pizza arrived, it exceeded all expectations. The aroma alone transported me to pizza paradise! Each slice was a perfect combination of flavorful toppings and a deliciously crispy crust, leaving me craving more with every bite. Even as a tourist, Plaza Pizza made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and delectable pizzas. It's definitely a hidden gem in Whitley Bay that I'm thrilled to have discovered during my travels. If you find yourself in town craving a slice of heaven, be sure to pay Plaza Pizza a visit—you won't be disappointed!
Please take it from a local review guidemyself. Don't order from this place. Placed an order to arrive through just eat, Claimed it had arrived but it did not. Rang the restaurant to find out what was happening but line was busy. I'm assuming fake number? Just listen to all other reviews on this page and do not order here. Please see photo attached. This placed is not interested in taking your calls!
This place used to be great but sadly it's gone downhill fast, the shop is filthy and really should be reported to the council. The pizza I had was tasteless and the free garlic bread I was given was the same. The chips were at best average. I certainly won't return
I ordered some food from here on Just Eat a few nights ago. My order was late so I called the restaurant to find out where it was, I was told there was a delay but would be with me soon. I waited another 20 mins and called again, I was told there was a further delay and the food would be with me in another 45 minutes, at this point, I was no longer interested in waiting this long and asked to cancel the order. The person I was talking to was extremely rude, telling me I could not cancel and would have to wait. I then went onto Just Eat and cancelled the order thinking I would get a refund since the food has been delayed twice, however the this restaurant refused to refund me, saying it was due to bad weather. The weather had been glorious all day and there were no signs of any weather issues. I requested Just Eat to investigate this and sort out my refund but they were useless and unable to help me. So I paid £24 and never received anything. They didn’t even refund me the delivery charge when nothing was ever delivered to me.
Pizza could have been better, chips are never very nice. Wouldn’t take much to make it better. Just needs a little bit more care and attention and it could be a top take away. I knew there was something wrong when I was made to award review stars on collection of my food rather than after I consumed it. How can I review food before I’ve eaten it?? Seriously guys, you can do a better job than this and sadly many take aways are like this. Get a grip and actually start making proper food instead of sub standard food. Lazy. It wouldn’t take much of an effort. And too expensive. 6/10. Could be a 8/10.
