Well what can I say order at a reasonable time and was told only a 45 minute wait but ended waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. Then the bad experience didn't end there, when the food arrived it was cold and missing a bag of chips I asked for. Also, when I phoned up I was told that instead of having my order for free next time I could only have a pizza with some chips, which was not what I wanted at all. I will be considering a change of take away from now on and I recommend others do the same.
I have used Kebab King for almost ten years. The food has always been good and the delivery was always quick and reliable. After years without a single let down the last three times we have ordered have been a shambles taking well over an hour to deliver. Shocking how badly down hill the place has gone.
Not worth getting,we're still hungry and we paid £10 for 2 kebabs with absolute bugger all in them, quality isn't what it used to be as the kebab is cut thin and it doesn't taste good anymore. better off going to front streets iFry where you actually get "fed". £5 for a large Donner kebab and you get loads more enough to feed 4 if you buy 2.
I tried Kebab King for the first time tonight as it is nearest to my home and looked decent enough on first impressions. I had been working a very long day and not finished until after 11pm, finding myself a bit hungry and thinking I would take in my family a treat I ordered and paid for a 12 inch Bolognese Pizza. Sadly, first impressions were way off. You can imagine my extreme disappointment to find I took home a box that contained bread and cheese albeit melted cheese! I am a hardworking Mom and Grandmother and I am not in a position to throw away £6.50 for some tasteless bread and cheese after a 16 hour day. I have heard of these underhand establishments who rip off people in Newcastle after a certain time at night but I was in Whitley Bay, and obviously way too trusting. Ironically, I did wait and watch while a very decently sized looking kebab was made by one of the staff in front of the Customer, However, pizzas are prepared in the back out of view. I advise anyone wanting a Pizza to go elsewhere, especially if they expect to get what they ask and pay for!
been getting kebabs occassionally from here for best part of 8 years. never felt the need to try another as they have been consistently good. not great - but good. in fact the kebabs have been so tempting that when i used to work away in Germany, i'd delay eating till i got home because a big ole mixed kebab was just what was ordered after a week of pork and weisen bier. I was dissapointed when they moved from real home made red cabbage to some rather inferior picked cabbage, but overall this has been a tasty kebab all the tiomes ive had it - recommended. I'm from yorkshire, so nowt gets 5 stars ;- Update in 2017. Revised ingredients has poorer taste. Dropped out of my place to grab takeout. Ok for kebab after beer, but just ok, no better
My expirence at kebab King was traumatising. I rang to place an order for collection and I was about to leave when my mums car wouldn't start, meaning I was unable to collect my order therefore I rang kebab King to inform. walking wasn't an option either as it was too far away to come within the time boundaries given. I was then highly offended as a worker at the fast food restaurant shouted at me down the phone and then proceeded to swear at me with appalling language, just for cancelling the order, leaving me disgusting with the customer service given. I would highly recommend not to go here. I certainly myself will never be going there again. I am writing this review to prevent this happening from to anyone else.
1st time odering and we ordered a family meal deal box it came with 2 bits of chicken very greasy and cold chips with hard gritty kebab meat and when not happy with our order anyways my partner rings to ask were the missing food is and we are told there is nothing he can do about it very rood and deffinetly not order again or even recommend for your dog's
When a customer tells you not to use an ingredient dont stand there and argue with the customer saying we always use it ....... and use the ingredient anyway even when the customer said "NO"......... Without customers you do not have a business....... i will never use you again........ i have had food off you for the last 30 years never again.......... Kebab King has gone down hill big time..........
It's a coin flip! I've had good and bad from here but tonight was the last straw, under cooked pizza with border line raw doe and chips that were shrivelled,dry and cold!
