Not my usual Chinese takeaway but mine was closed so I tried Claremont Chinese takeaway. Very disappointed, food was very bland and no taste, my husbands foo young was dry and tasteless and my chop suey was very bland. Ended up putting loads of my own soy sauce on from home, won't be going back.Food: 1/5
Food is fresh, tasty, hot and amazing. I'm usually really fussy with take out food but this place will always win for Chinese food for me. Reasonable prices and lovely happy staff!Food: 5/5

Recently become our go to for take out. Can't fault it at all. All dishes we've been ordered were tasty and piping hot. Shame prawn crackers aren't included as standard any more but never mind. Posted updated menu as only online one was 6 years old.Food: 5/5

Been using this place for years and never fails to impress in spite of Sid retiring. Fresh veg, cooked so there's just enough to bite through. Taste, as always beautiful and the mixed meats in the House special dishes were just great quality, especially the pork. Don't go anywhere else; I won't!Food: 5/5
We’ve been using this takeaway for a few months now and in the 5/6 times we’ve used it, the food and services has been 10/10. First time tonight we’ve had any disappointment when our usually char siu mushroom dish, which is usually in an oyster sauce with a whole host of veg was just a large circular carton of fried rice, small slices of mushroom and handful of chopped char siu pork. Though the dish was nice, it was very dry without any sauce and was mostly rice. Hoping this was a one off!
Ordered meal this evening as haven’t had a Chinese in a while and this was my favourite place till this evening, food quality disgusting wouldn’t give this to my dog tonight, called up to complain got phone put down on me twice will definitely not be going back it’s a shame all the hard work previous owners now nothing disgusting food and disgusting attitude
Been my fav and one and only Chinese takeaway for over 20 years... since new chef or management... I'm sad to say, now plastic containers, smaller portions, and food is terrible.....what a shame hope the previous owner got a good price. Coz the value will only decline...Will not be back....Food: 1/5
