Arrived at 7pm with wife and 2 kids, restaurant was reasonably busy but not overly. Order taken about 10 minutes after arriving, not too long, but a bad start as they had run out of bolognaise that my daughter wanted. They offered to cook her a plain pasta in tomato sauce which seemed a nice offer and we accepted. Starters arrived but without any drinks, which didn’t appear for about another 15 minutes. About 40 minutes after starters had been cleared the mains arrived, my daughters was inedible, pasta was rock hard, wife’s pizza was cold and my sons pizza was tasteless. Mine was fine. The kids had a deal which included dessert but it was now 8.30pm and the kids were too tired to wait any longer. Tried to pay but this took another 10 minutes or so, by which time my wife was spitting feathers! Complained to waiter upon payment but his comment was simply ‘sorry, we’ve been busy’ which didn’t really cut it..... We are fairly regular customers of Pizza Express, but will certainly rethink this after today’s experience and would most definitely avoid this particular branch at all costs after paying nearly £50 the experience!

Have been here a few times and it is our favourite pizza express. Food is lovely and always go away full. Service can be a bit slow when busy but understandable as there never seems to be many serving. The waitress Rachel is lovely and always happy to help. She is informative on what's on the menu as well. Tonight my desert was burnt on the bottom I didn't say anything because I was able to eat around it. when she saw this she said we will take it off the bill which I thought was good service and wasn't made to feel awkward about it. We also use the Tesco Clubcard vouchers with ease here which isn't the case in some other branches.

Quiet restaurant on a weekday but worth looking at the company website for vouchers. Lovely restaurant inside, a friendly and engaging team with perfect fresh food.

Visited here for a family meal with 7 others last Saturday and we probably all wished we hadn’t. The service was very slow even though we were one of only 4/5 occupied tables there. After a lukewarm pizza and delays with everything we finally had the dessert menu. 6 of us ordered (a variety of desserts) and had to wait 30min after to be told most of the desserts were gone by a ridiculously rude chef who proceeded to shrug his shoulders and stomp off after we asked why it had taken so long to tell us this? We then went to pay the bill and were greeted by said chef who was again rude, this time to my father. The waitress finally brought the bill over to us by throwing it towards the table without saying a word. We then asked for the chef’s name for obvious reasons to which the waitress replied she didn’t know it. We received no apology for the way we were spoken to and treated and will unfortunately not be visiting there again. Most certainly the worst service I’ve received in a restaurant.

Well priced, and the food was good. Service wasn't the best. Asked for the Garlic bread without cheese, and came with cheese. Unfortunately we couldn't get hold of any staff so we just put up with it. Could do with knowing how spicy some of the pizzas are. My partner ordered a pizza which we thought would be very spicy, and wasn't. Where as mine was very spicy, when I wasn't expecting it!
