Good service here. Manager seems friendly and staff seem to get on really well and enjoy their work. Had a few meals in the evening as well as a take away one night and food always been spot on

Love pizza express and you can usually be sure that a pizza in one restaurant is going to be the same in another. However at my last visit the pizzas were overcoated in cheese to the point that it just tasted greasy and the base a soggy mess. Although the waiter was very friendly and apologetic his explanation was the chef liked to put a lot of cheese on top. If that's the case then I will be avoiding this branch if not the whole chain as a few hours later felt sick with the amount of cheese I had eaten.

Good food, great atmosphere, brilliant service, only problem is it's a bit overpriced but a lot of pizza places are

Slow service and not much chicken on the pizza so felt food overpriced. Staff were very friendly to reduce the impact of the slow service. Will go again because we know what to expect but pizza express is not our first thought for pizza/Italian.
