A huge drop in standard of service and quality. I’ve been using Pizza Base for years, in fact since it’s very beginning. But now it’s ended. I tried to be patient but it’s only got far worse. You walk into the place and you’re greeted by grunts from youngsters. Absolutely no idea how to greet customers. You sit there waiting for your pizza and can hear the youngsters talking as if they were out with mates at a pub. Honestly, I don’t want to hear your stories. Pizzas what you get have become completely random. Last 2 I ordered have toppings on one side but almost nothing on the other, just not evenly made no pizza base, I didn’t store them on end Then the pricing of the pizzas is a complete con. You buy one get one free but pay for the most expensive, but if you buy just one it’s half price? So if I buy one and get it half price, then buy the more expensive one straight after and get it half price, it works out cheaper by a considerable amount, what a con you have clearly displayed up on the wall there. You con every customer that buys 2 pizzas.
I've used pizza base for years and have always been very pleased. but I'm very disappointed that they have axed the buy one get one free. So I won't be ordering again I'm afraid.
Oh dear, what cheese have you changed to it is vile. Pizzas look as good as ever service brilliant but why change a winning recipe for a cheese that ends up as glupe in your mouth with no taste. Such a shame guys please go back to before as you will lose lots of custom I fear.
Lasagne was good but so what if after trying your snacks onion rings nuggets and mushrooms I had to return everything. The coating was falling apart and the mushrooms are old. The fries and all the rest are sagging. I've never eaten anything worse in my life. If you can't cook anything for a pizza, just don't do it and don't poison people. I do not greet you
A loyal customer from day one when it opened many years ago when owned by Comi and his brother ,how the service levels have changed,been down twice this week,midweek at 9:15 pmto be told that they have stopped “ serving?and went back tonight Saturday only to be told that any card sale has to be a minimum of £10,how poor is the service in the shop itself and I will not use them again.
I like Pizza Base as they do some amazing tasting pizzas but the only reason I give 4 stars is because they need their own app so you can save your info and pay through PayPal without having to phone up or use their website as their site isn’t user friendly
They used to be the best in Burton with loads of toppings, thick and juicy but the one I had a couple of days ago was short on toppings, very disappointed, just the same as everyone else now
Have only ever used Pizza Base since you opened and tonight's 'experience' was the worst ever. I had a sweat tooth 11" with extra pineapple, which is my normal and my wife had a 11" beef & onion with extra cheese and garlic bread slices. The Bases were not as full & aerated as normal, rubbery and quite thin & flat. The disappointment was in the Pizza Bases not the ingredients. The garlic bread was inedible due to a very salty taste and could not be eaten. What has gone wrong with your base ingredient as they used to be excellent. I would think again before I order more from you, but you can be sure I would not use another company, just go without. Sorry!.
Nice couple of pizzas. 2 for the price of 1 . Excellent value.
Best pizza I've had in my 10 years in the UK. Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the rest of England can't keep up with the quality of Pizza Base. Well done
