1 star is too generous. Absolutely horrendous. Waited over 2 hours for the delivery. Driver pulled up, got out the car and then drove off so we’re left with no food! Rang them to chase, was told they would contact the drive and had no follow up call after this. Hoping they provide a refund for this!
Never ever ever ever order from them again delivery 2,5hrs late ,food cold and discussting not what we ordered
I don’t know why there are so meany bad reviews! My food was really wonderful, super warm, well packaged and delicious. it’s well worth the money. The portions are big as well! The lady who delivered my food was really lovely to. thanks for the good food, we will definitely order from Happy Lin again.
One star is too much !!!! Had a disgusting takeaway delivered after 90mins of waiting. Ordered sweet & sour chicken balls & 3 delicious chow mein, chips & curry sauce. The chips were not cooked, the chicken balls were swimming in grease, nearly black & when we bit into them the chicken was so hard we couldnt chew it !!! The chow mein noodles were just warm but the meat in the dish was stone cold, everything went in the bin !!!! We couldnt take it all back as we have a dog & the fireworks were distressing him, hence the takeaway . I rang and complained but got nowhere, will never use them again
Vile The crispy Cantonese chicken was just chicken in a sweet and sour sauce no batter on it at all, the only flavour to it was vinigar. The lemon chicken was chewy as if it were raw inside The chicken curry had no flavour and was vile And to top if off it all came cold. Feeling sick now
Just had food from here for the first time Food delivered hot and well before the time stated. Delicious! The ribs were amazing, sweet and sour chicken very tasty and l9ved tge mushroom rice. You have a new customer and will recommend to family and friends.
Disgusting special fried rice was plain rice with a few bits of hard meat thrown in special curry was more like jelly mostly made up of onion never again please don't waste your hard earned
Good food up until you got taken over. Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and it come without the sweet and sour sauce. Chips all burnt and hard, kind of puts me off ordering from here again..
Worst. Chinese. Ever. Everything was greasy and without flavour, we ordered chicken fried rice, prawn toast and chicken balls. The toast was extremely greasy with little to no prawn in it per toast. The rice was without any soy sauce, spices or any seasoning whatsoever, it was also quite hard which it made it horrible eat. Finally the chicken balls. The greasiest meal ive ever eaten, it was all completely drenched in sweet snd sour sauce, which I didnt ask for, of all meals this was the last thing id expect to have any extra seasoning but seeing as everything else was so plain i guess it had to go somewhere. Terribke experience i would not order again and would like a refund honestly.
Literally the worst takeaway I’ve had. Not only did it arrive over the already expected “late” time but I also found two hairs in my food. I pondered for a few minutes after I found the first if I should call them and then after finding ANOTHER hair, I was right on the phone. At first the man told me “its impossible” and he acted shocked. He was doubting me. Then the phone was passed to someone else who told me if the food has been delivered past 5 minutes he couldn’t do anything. I got the food at about 8:15 pm, I called about 25 mins later... do they expect all people to just eat their food and find hairs within 5 minutes? The hair was jet black, my hair is not jet black. I don’t even understand how restaurants can function with this kind of service. Maybe the hairs were saving me from getting food poisoning or being ultimately even more disappointed by the taste of it... or in fact of taste of the “food”
