The site is very well maintained and they are still adding to it in many ways which is great. Pitches are tidy and equipped and you have plenty of space to each pitch too. Doesn't feel like your all crammed in with no privacy which we really like. Washrooms are among the best we've seen for a campsite. Clean, modern, warm and self contained. Walks available from site with the sea side and Sandringham estate not far at all. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great and ideal. The food hut was good too, fair prices and good quality. Nearby activities: Sea side, Sandringham estate. Towns
Stayed in one of the camping pods which have definitely seen better days and need a good deep clean. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty curtains and the floor needed a damn good mop! This is a lovely part of Norfolk and good walks straight out the site but very loud road noise and disappointing standards in the pods for £50 a night. Also, the toilet block nearest to pods was all locked up except for one bathroom marked 'male' for first couple of days, when a second one was opened it had no heating. The other toilet block was fully open with heating so don't know why those of us at pod end couldn't have the same service. One positive which I definitely want to highlight is the staff who were very friendly and helpful. It could be a nice place with a bit of money spent on pods.
Absolutely loved it. It has everything, nice little spot to just rest. Only issue we had was that our pitch flooded - no one else's did. So we struggled to venture out, myself being disabled I struggled to head to the bathrooms as it involved getting over the pond outside our caravan! But I can't fault the site.Rooms: 5/5
Location is awkward if you don't have a car. Rooms are cute and toilets are reasonably well maintained, but the shower button has to be pushed once every 8 seconds, ridiculous. Reception is barely ever open. It can be unnerving to check in when it is closed, and no, the welcome pack doesn't have all the answers.Rooms: 4/5
Pinecones Caravan & camping is a lovely site. We have recently stayed at the site in our caravan, pitch was large, level & fully serviced. We had 2 dogs with us so we walked them the other side of the kissing gate down a long grassy area which also leads to the beach, but we didn't get that far as they are older years, but very handy to walk them on. The facilities were very good. The local area has a lot to offer. We have enjoyed our stay & hope to see you again soon. Happy Christmas to you all.
This campsite has so much to offer with excellent facilities. Good walks local shops and pubs all within 15 minute walk. Bus stop at the door. New for this season ar and cinema.Service: 5/5
Lovely location, weather was brilliant, shower facilities were the best we have used on camping trips. Noise levels had to be kept to a minimum which we didn’t mind too much..would have preferred a bit more flexibility but we couldn’t fault the site at all. Had a lovely time! Easy access to dog facilities, on-site shop and washing area and brilliant location for days out and to visit close family Nearby activities: We travelled into Hunstanton, old Hunstanton and sandringham which were all maximum of a 20 minute drive Walkability: Our dog came camping for the first time and she loved it. Expected the off lead area to be a bit bigger from the photos but there was loads of walks to access close by and the site kindly give you information of things close by, maps and all the doggy information you might need! Food & drinks: We didn’t order food on our stay as we had a bbq and went out during the day but there was a lot on offer and in the on-site shop where we could access free ice and anything else we might of needed during the stay
Great site, with improvements due to open very soon, will make it even better. 10% discount for food at The Feathers was a bonus for our group of 18 adults. Walkability: Plenty of walks on the supplied maps from reception, great organisation.
This was our first visit to the site and it's fantastic, really well laid out clean and tidy loved it, we had a fully serviced pitch with one of the huts, brilliant, there were so many things we liked including the music in the showers, nice touch. The staff were all friendly and there is a small shop on site. We ordered food one evening from the on site take away and it was really yummy, the 12oz burger was huge. Would we return absolutely. Thanks to all involved in this site for all the hard work it really shows.
On arrival tent pitches very close together ground very uneven for tents. For caravan and campers perfect site not so good for tents. Staff very friendly very helpful spoke with staff who very happily moved my family to a more private pitch which was very kind and helpful. Pitching tents on stones not ideal as always cleaning stones up from the tents but was given another choice of a grass pitch but still tents too close together. Toilets and showers are cleaned but unfortunately having the showers and toilets in one they do get very muddy in the morning. Not really enough showers for the amount of people on site. If the tents pitches are made up to the same hign standards as the caravan pitches more showers and toilets be a perfect site. Staff very friendly very helpful. Good location for the beaches.
