From the second you walk through the door you are greeted by friendly helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic and a good size to fill your appetite. The location is ideal for walkers and beach hunters. Will definitely be staying again and will recommend to family and friends.
Tasty food and well presented. A bit pricey. Good service, pleasant staff. Found the room noisy and as I had 2 friends with me who are hard of hearing, conversation was difficult. Nice to have a car park.
Stayed at The Pilot Inn after a gorgeous walk from Seaford. Rewarded with a cold pint, a beautifully clean and well appointed room with an excellent shower and a fab steak dinner in quirky, warm surroundings. Staff were helpful and engaging. Thoroughly good value. Would recommend.
I had the steak pie , due to recommendation from a helpful stranger in the village when I arrived in Eastbourne. I was not disappointed 10/10
Fantastic pub, lovely food and big comfy rooms. The staff were really helpful. We felt well looked after and would love to go back. Perfect place to end the South Downs Way.
I had a delicious pepper curry, which was vegan and I was able to have a gluten free version of. The people I was with loved their cheeseburgers too. Great food.

The Pilot Inn was a very welcoming and warm place, the beer was good, especially the Peroni. The staff were very polite, and knowledgeable. The food was really good. I would definitely come here again, I want to try the Guinness
Great pub. Good food. This has to be the best pub in town..fact.
I went for a light bite and drink with my Dad. Staff were so helpful. It felt like a normal pub experience, which is great as others places I have been to felt very different. There was a great atmosphere in the garden.
