I do not eat out very often so have not eaten here for a very long time. I ordered Hunters chicken, my friend ordered the scampi. I forgot to take photos of our mains but i did take photos of our desserts, although my friend had half eaten hers . The food was lovely, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The amount was just perfect. Highly recommend anyone going. We are definitely returning. A big shout out to Ty who served us, he is amazing, very polite, friendly, welcoming and good for a laugh! High five Ty keep up the good work! We also met the Chef who we told the food was delicious so high five to him. Sorry don’t know your name. Thank you Donna Wheelchair accessibility: I want to bring my father who is in a wheelchair. I noticed outside a good ramp to enable me to get him in. Plenty of room round tables for wheelchair access
The food was delicious, two meals from the lunchtime meal deal and two from the main menu. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff were attentive to our needs and extremely polite. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and we will certainly return. Excellent service all round, thank you.Food: 5/5
We came for Mother’s Day and had an amazing experience, the food was beautiful fresh and hot and the staff were so friendly, polite and Welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. 100% service and would definitely recommend and will be back again.Food: 5/5

We had the Sunday carvery, great value and tasty food. So many different vegetables. Had the small portions they were generous but it left us s little room for puddings which were great as well. Highly recommend. Friendly staff as well
What a wonderful pub! Came for a carvery with friends today, food was delicious, big portions of meat, very friendly staff that made us feel right at home. Puddings to die for! A group of us from my workplace came for our Christmas meal/night out , we had a great evening, the food was really lovely and great value for money ,it was served hot , efficiently and from friendly staff. We were made very welcome , the table was set beautifully and Josh and his team went out of their way to make sure we had a great night , we will definitely be returning Well done Josh and his team at The Pillar of Salt
