It would be great if the owners could start cleaning up all the glass and bottles left outside and all along the footpaths after Friday and Saturday nights. Not great that residents are sweeping the paths and cleaning up your mess.
I had a brilliant night at The Barley mo they had a disco and karaoke lovely atmosphere land ladies brilliant good night had buy allFood: 3/5
Nice friendly pub, we dropped in twice during our stay and found ourselves chatting to many of the locals and the landlords! - really nice and welcoming which you don't always get when you're a visitor. Decent selection and price of drinks, pool table, they had karaoke on the Friday some great singers! and thankfully the fire was going when is was zero outside. Will def come here next time we're in.
Owners are rude/ border line bullys the way they talk to their staff, very clicky pub, made to feel unwelcome if your face don't fit. Seen better toilets in a construction site, atmosphere is non existent. There is a lot better pubs in droitwich, would not recommend this pub to my worst enemy. Unfortunately I have to give a star to post, otherwise it would be no star.
I go regularly to the karaoke nights and from my very first time of going there i was made welcomed by the staff and the customers . Most of them were a lot younger than me but the respect shown by all was unbelievable and i will certainly go there again.
Bar staff need sorting out, the young girl dressed with her belly out and her phone sticking out of her back pocket, Several times we had to ask to be served and then it was with a sour face. Several times she was Rolling her tobacco from behind the bar, very unprofessional. I've given this pub a chance a few times now but it only seems to be getting worse. I felt very uneasy at the fact one group of women in particular like to make fun and filming people that are simply just out for a good time. I have worked in pubs all my life and this is not it. What you attract is what you represent.
Nice place, clean,tidy,staff friendlyAtmosphere: 4/5
Popped in for a quick pint , not from the area , first impresions not good as the bar person was talking too someone else and it took another customer to shout him to get is attention !! Had to spend more than £5 to use the card machine !!!! The place is a haven for chavs swearing and burping out loudly on 3 or more occasioins . The back of the pub were gangs of youths drinking and smoking ... not very welcoming ... i have drank in some rough pubs in my time ... but this is up there with the best ... Would not return in the future ...
Great locals pub with sports and bar games. You're sure of a friendly atmosphere no matter how often you go. Can get quite busy/lively on a Friday/Saturday night, but fine if that's what you're after :-
Had to stop here when we were involved in a RTC and the manager was friendly and helpful. He didn't mind is using his car park and allowed us to use the restrooms. Very courteous! Looks like they serve Lavazza coffee and the prices were not expensive on the small range of drinks that I had time to notice. Restrooms were slightly dated but in keeping with a bar.
