Local ambulance and paramedic staff are amazing! Once you get to hospital they assess you as quickly as they can (does take a while sometimes but the staff can't be held responsible the A&E Is too small) and then they get you on to the appropriate ward out of A&E as quickly as they can. The women's health ward is fantastic, newly done huge rooms and a lot of the staff are nice. The consultants are full if themselves though. Food is alright for hospital food as well.

Fantastic care offered by this hospital, my friend was admitted yesterday to SAU on ward 5 , Aand E staff were amazing and cannot praise the staff enough for the high quality care given , special.thanks to Becky an assistant on A and E and the volunteer who wheeled my friend around and of the surgical team and nurses on the ward she was taken to - thank you

I recently spent 14 days at Pilgrim, firstly in AMU and then Ward 7A having been diagnosed at the hospital with Guillain Barre Syndrome. Paralysis, temporary or otherwise, is very frightening but all the wonderful staff were unfailingly kind, thoughtful and preserved dignity at all times. The room I was in was extremely nice and the food was excellent, diagnosis was immediate and accurate with full explanations. What should have been an horrendous experience ... actually wasn't. Thank you to all of you .. just some names I remember are Jo x 2, Ash, Tash, Wendy, Hugh and, of course, Sally - I will never forget your kindness and unfailing patience.

I arrived at A&E and was promptly seen by the triage nurse before very quickly taken through to the resuscitation room where i was stabilised and transferred to lincoln hospital, i was very well taken care of and everything was explained to me. They treated me professionally and calmly during a time when they were extremely busy in the department.
