Unfortunately I felt the need to leave a review as I had a very poor experience with the receptionist this evening. She came across very rude and patronising towards me which made me feel very uncomfortable in her presence. I'm not sure if she was totally unaware with the way she came across but you don't expect that anywhere let alone in a sensitive environment. I came for my first appointment on my own and felt anxious which was made worse by the receptionist's cold, odd manner. Other than that every other individual I came across in the facility was very helpful and lovely.

From the reception staff to the consultant this morning I cannot complain, excellent service and was treated as an individual and fully explained the consultation. Excellent hospital would highly recommend, thank you.

Actually one star is too much...Been a very scary couple of days soo far for us and our daughter Grēta and its very possible that its not done yet...with her air ways blocked...chest infection and bronchiolitis poor little baby been fighting to breathe and coughing like granddad was...rushed to Lincoln hospital in ambulance and spending there almost all night...is not been easy...she's only 8 weeks old...the best part is after spending a good 8 hours in hospital with 7 of thoes seating on A&E with my daughter in my arms they never gave her anything like medicine or even oxygen to ease my baby's cough or making her breathing any easier(apart from ambulance crew which they was 1000%more helpful than the actual doctors)...and then doctors said to us only if us are able to see her little rib cage or her lips turn blue...what??? Totally nonsense...that's NHS for you...Grrrrŗrrrrrr

Went in for a phlebotomy. I've had this done 5 times this year at various places. This was by far the worst. She missed the (if I recall the location correctly) ulnar vein multiple times, and even wiggled the needle under the skin trying to get at it. It was very, very, distressing and pretty painful. I don't buy the excuse that my veins "move around a lot" considering every other nurse has managed to get it on the first attempt with no real pain. In the end she went through the hand, but did not remove the tourniquet before removing the needle causing blood to get on me and the floor. The whole experience was distressing and unpleasant and I felt like I was being stabbed by someone who was inexperienced and half-blind.
