Me and my boyfriend went for my 18th birthday meal and will definitely be returning. The food was great quality, portion sizes were worth the money and delivered to the table very quickly after ordering. All of the staff were so pleasant and went out of their way to make our experience even better. The atmosphere was lovely and the level of service was perfect, especially taking your coats upon arrival. Our waitress Joanna was so lovely, checked up on us frequently and delivered impeccable service. They even gave us complimentary prosecco, a free dessert and sang happy birthday! We can’t wait to come back again.
Excellent location, by the cherry blossom trees. That’s their main asset. Directly when entering, all you see are tables. Everywhere. This directly gave the impression that they want to maximise space for more profit. There is no decoration and very narrow space for you to move around. The food was alright but not worth how much they asked for it. Service was okay, it felt a bit chaotic as if they don’t communicate with each other. You don’t have an attributed waiter. Overall, it wasn’t bad but not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it especially when you know they are some way better italian places in town.
The restaurant was lovely and spacious, very clean too. The service was quick and efficient. Food was very tasty especially the dessertFood: 5/5
I began frequenting this establishment over 15 years ago, when the food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the interior both clean and appealing. However, that is now a memory of the past. Today, the venue has become run-down and unclean, with damaged sofas. The food quality has also diminished, becoming quite basic. Regrettably, it no longer merits a visit.
Excellent Italian place, the food was delicious and the service was very nice. Only minus is that the music was a bit to loud, otherwise a really nice place for a couple or large group. Recommend it if you are craving Italian in Birmingham!
There are many branches of this restaurant but this was the first one I’ve tried. The experience was excellent, luckily because they had heated outdoor seating Upon arrival we stepped into what seemed like a nightclub. It was exceptionally noisy even for a Saturday evening. Luckily there were tables outside that could accommodate us. The staff were wonderful at making sure we had everything we needed and despite being outside we didn’t feel neglected or watched. 5 stars to the wonderful service staff. Food was great. Some food was a bit tasteless but in a healthish way so we didn’t feel too bad. The dessert was out of this world. You MUST order the BUDINO DI PANETTONE. It was honestly the best dessert I’ve ever tried. I would certainly go back just for this. The outside heated area was great. Clean and very warm. The only downside is that towards the end of our meal some quite loud groups arrived sitting outside and smoking which was a shame. Personally I don’t think smoking should be allowed in these covered areas but that was the only negative and it was a weekend. Parking: Paid parking lot a short walk away. Cheaper rate on Sunday.
Cold restaurant! Slow service! I was told on the phone by Simone that I could replace one of the items in the desert platter for Zeppole when I requested this they said No!!! The bruschetta bread was so hard! I asked for garlic aioli, they brought out plain mayonnaise which the still claimed to be AIOLI!! My pizza came out cold, I asked for extra cheese there was still more tomato sauce!! It’s like I had tomato bread!!! I wouldn’t rate this place, you’re paying for the name only! Not worth it. I suggest PASTA DI PIAZZA or SAN CARLO RESTAURANTS. Don’t waste your time and money here!!
The best Carbonara I’ve ever had. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Definitely will be back soon.Food: 5/5
Overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered the TAGLIOLINI AL TARTUFO but as you can see in the photo it was a small portion and it did not taste pleasant at all. The restaurant needs a renovation too.Food: 2/5
Went there for a lunch on Friday with my daughter for her birthday meal. We were greeted by lovely friendly lady waiter and straight away were seated at nice table by the window. We ordered strawberry and lime cider for a drink which was absolutely delicious and my daughter had a soft drink. We have 2 types of chicken as a main and courgette fries and greens and new season potatoes as a side dish . All was fresh, chicken was so tender and food was brought within a very little waiting time. As always it was very nice experience and we will be returning for a meal next time when we visit Brum. 29.10.23. Another visit and another great meal. Pan fried sea bream was so delicious and so big portion- I had to take half of it home for my mum to try. We also had pasta with chicken- very tasty and roasted potatoes, house salad and of course fried courgette. Services was kind and professional. Very happy customers.
