Restaurant that serves lobster and probably famous for it. Although the lobsters can be quite expensive, didn’t go for that and went for normal dishes such as Pho and the fried noodles. Overall they are good and adding the chillies give more boost to the dish itself!
Though I've never visited Vietnam, visiting with my Viet friend validated this place being worthwhile and I was not disappointed. This place has a calming atmosphere with very chilled servers, that are always happy to help. However the food was what we came for, and if I could have ordered more I would have done so!Recommended dishesRare Sliced Rib Eye Steak Pho and Mixed Special Pho, Salt and Pepper Squid
Best pho we had on the southern bank of Thames. Highly recommended. The Hue version is tolerably spicy, even for those who don't like spicy food. They have a diversified menu, suitable for all. Must try the Vietnamese drip coffee.
Out of all the dishes we had, the salt and pepper squid stood out the most in terms of flavour and freshness. The grilled pork belly with vermicelli that my husband had was also good but he felt that it wasn’t substantial enough. Perhaps add more pork next time? I ordered fried rice noodles with prawn for my main. It was not bad but not spectacular either. It was average in taste, although the portion was generous. Overall, it was a bit of a hit and miss experience but I’d probably still come back to give it the benefit of the doubt.
Great taste authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Excellent soup and Pho to taste! The summer rolls and buns also great to try! If you wanna try their chef special recommended lobster, remember to order in advance.
Went for a quick bite to eat and did not disappoint! Ordered the prawn imperial hue noodle soup and the rare beef rib pho which was extremely flavourful and filling especially from the cold weather. Also had the prawn summer rolls to start which were quite refreshing! Server was extremely helpful and welcoming, and food came quite quickly. Very good value for money, as it only came up to under 30£ for two. Perfect to come for any occasion, and will definitely be there again.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in London! Welcoming, helpful, and friendly staff. Food is always delicious. We truly love this place and will be back not once
Good food but not spectacular. The beef stew was not what I was expecting with a name like that. Was more of a curry night without the spices. Wouldn't rush back but if in the area would consider it
Absolutely banging food. We had the lobster and salter egg and the rib eye pho and it was delicious. Owner is pretty funny too, recommend befriending him if you enjoy getting roasted while eating your dinner.
Pretty authentic Vietnamese restaurant. We ordered a shared platter, the prawns were really juicy. The beef brisket pho was nice too. Nothing to complain about.
