One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London, we’ve been. You can get most of the typical Vietnamese food here. You write down what you would like to order on a note Pad at the table and take it to the tail to pay for your food. You get 10% discount. If you pay by cash the environment is nice and I have a small garden area toilets are located downstairs. The staff are helpful and friendly. You can help yourself with tap water at the table. The starter are quite big so if you’re not too hungry you can order as a main course. Nearby street parking is about £2.50 an hour. We had a enjoyable afternoon here.
Absolutely delicious! I was very impressed with the food here, and the bubble tea! Usually I go all the way Liverpool St for good Vietnamese food but I’m so happy I’ve found somewhere much closer to home! Only thing is the portion are smaller than I expected but the flavour makes up for it! Service is very quick and our server was very helpful with recommendations. Would definitely recommend.
We got some food as take out, and we weren't disappointed!! Excellent fresh, tasty food. Sweet and sour chicken was great!! We will definitely be going back. Only very slight criticism is that there could be a little more sauce with the chicken. But not enough of a problem to take off any stars!!Food: 5/5
Great spot & great value. The Banh Mi selection is great; we had a standard pork Banh Mi and it was delicious. The beef pho and Vietnamese roles were also great in their own right. Lastly, the actual cost of the beverages on offer is amazing. I highly recommend a visit!
The spicy pork banh mi was absolutely delicious! I also got the veggie pho which was OK but not as good as pho I've had elsewhere, it was missing that umami flavour. I'd absolutely go back for that banh mi though! The staff were nice and service was fast.
Generous portions and tasty but NO SAUCE! If it makes it easier to imagine, it’s like a very tasty spaghetti Bolognese with loads of mince beef but BARELY ANY TOMATO SAUCE AND DRY AS HELL! If you’re Vietnamese you know this dish needs a good amount of fish sauce, it’s the star of the dish. I don’t eat a lot of fish sauce, I don’t even have it at home so when they deliver me a large delicious meal with not even half a tiny cup of sauce I find it very frustrating as it’ll always be the thing to ruin the dish, make it so bland and dry as it is. I came here a lot of times, ordering quite a lot and left notes for them twice but both times they wouldn’t give me more - actually, this time they probs gave me a teaspoon more compare to last time . Shame as the food is very GENEROUS and TASTY, I am surprised to not see the Vietnamese complain about this issue I guess they have the sauce at home so they can always add extra into the food, but I don’t have it so I find it so frustrating!!! like.. at least fill the little pot please! :
Food is ok overall. Pho tastes quite good but bun rieu is on the bland side. Bean sprouts are quite old and going bad. The server is quite unfriendly
Came across this little gem when I was visiting Woolwich. The dishes are generous portion and the price is very reasonable. I had to take away some of my mains as it was a lot. For the Eco warriors do bring a container as you most likely won't finish it all haha. Would definitely come back to try the many other starters and mains they have on offer. Mmmmmmm...
Used to be one of the hidden gems on my go-to list for pho and Sunday brunch. Bookmark is now removed. It's appear, new management has killed it, reduced food quality and much much worse service. Price increased though... 10% off if you paid cash, typical tunnel vision ownership practice. Same chef, signature Pho broth is still amazing. Judging by the food quality, the chef shopping budget is now really limited. Table is sticky, toilet is flooded. Good luck.
This is my kind of restaurant, simple but functional interior, the food doesn't cost an arm and a leg and tastes beautiful. We had the Bahn Mi baguettes and beef and noodle broth.Food: 5/5
