Excellent service from Irish people with a bubbly attitude behind it. Always friendly and there is a very friendly feel to Philomena's Sports Bar and Kitchen. The food is superb and the drinks were delicious. Other customers who entered were full of life and the occasion was an outstanding one. Thank you Philomena's!Food: 5/5
Good place to have a Guinness and watch rugby/football. Food ok, but nothing special. Staff overly attentive. On one occasion three different staff members asked if we wanted more drinks in close succession. It was a cold day when we visited but the door was pinned open by the door staff making for a chilly experience.
A place to watch sports while having a pint. Apart from that the food is delicious also. Great place!Food: 5/5
Beers are a plenty. And all of them are good. Fish&chips was ok. Could have added some vinegar, but a good pub-meal.
It was quiet for a Friday afternoon, other than the group a couple of tables away, shouting not talking. Food order was taken and served fairly quickly, good size portions. Good selection of drinks. Floor staff were attentive but not in your face.
This Irish bar is a mystery. The total number of ales available at the time of my visit was zero. Based on the number of badges that were turned around, they never have more than one on and i would be amazed if it is ever that many. At £6.10, the Guiness is hideously expensive. There are plenty of signs giving you the WiFi password, but why bother when the reception is so poor and often the IP address cannot be obtained. There's minimal decor and this no atmosphere. Why does anyone come here when there are several much better places nearby? I admit I've not tried the food.
Great for sports save for some 'because-they're-the-rules-someone-came-up-with-once' nonesense insistence about no seating at certain tables that would easily and comfortably allow for safe 'human traffic' and serving, without disrupting the sports. Decent otherwise and recommended for Rugby!
Great little Irish sports bar in Covent Garden. Food is simple but tasty pub fare, the staff are lovely, and the range of drinks is fantastic for its size. Great place to watch a variety of sports in central London.Food: 5/5
Nice bar, Excellent service. The chicken skewers were a little small, but overall very comfortable place with a good pint of guiness.Food: 4/5
Good decent Irish bar so Guinness on tap in addition to the regular Amstel, Heineken and Estella etc… also sells doom bar which I personally enjoy. Had some bbq chicken wings, fries, sweet potato and chilli beef nachos. These were all great. Easy wheelchair access on ground floor with disabled. Good atmosphere and furniture too, the stools here are fairly heavy duty and rigid without wobbling all over the place. Definitely Worth a visit.
