I have used Philip Bannister & Co, twice now for renting my property out, which the service was next to done and having the property dealt with by one of the director of the company, made me feel like my home was their home. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication and service was the best I have ever received. Upon selling my property, the excellent service continued, from regular updates whilst up for sale, to viewing feedback, (which was Honest) and then once an offer was received, they continually pushed to get me the best price and then once sold, regular updates from them, giving me step by step guide from start to finish. You can tell this company has been around for a while and proves money can not buy knowledgeable and experienced staff. I would recommend this company and the staff to anyone wishing to sell or rent their property

Absolutely appalling service; avoid at all costs! Having agreed with the sellers via Bannisters to purchase their house we sent in out mortgage offer in principle and "got on" with the rest of the paperwork and appointed a surveyor etc etc. Bannisters continued to market the house and show people around even though we had instructed solicitors to purchase. We then received a phone call to say that someone else had offered the same as us. I refuse to get in a bidding war when the sale was already agreed and we had offered the asking price anyway! Bannister's answer was simple - A house is not legally sold until exchange of contract! My answer is I agree but it's bad manners and seen as very poor form! Bad service over the telephone from day 1. Because of our purchase falling through our sale fell through and we've had to sell our house again. We were lucky and got a new buyer days later but when we started looking again we refused to house hunt with Bannisters due to the poor service! Very unprofessional!

Phillip Bannister has rented out a property of mine for many years and the rent has always been paid on time.
