Very unprofessional company. Dealt with a guy called Gareth and he honestly couldn’t care less about potential candidates. Books appointments and doesn’t turn up, ignores any further contact and just airs you. This behaviour not only leaves a nasty taste about Phaidon international, but also the companies they represent when recruiting. My advice, Simply just ignore them when they reach out to you, they are not serious enough to do business

Having worked with Phaidon International for over 2 years and placed several people into positions within their technology function, I would like to share a brief account of my positive experiences with the firm. A company with a clear vision, purpose, and values that are all effectively communicated by strong leadership who have created a high-performing culture. The leadership/hiring team knows exactly what they want but welcomes feedback and takes on advice during the recruitment process, resulting in multiple successful recruitment campaigns. A dream client to work with. Feedback from all the candidates I’ve placed has been extremely positive. As you would expect from any ambitious and successful company, there will always be some challenges but at Phaidon, it is a very supportive environment with opportunities for personal development and career progression. I look forward to witnessing the company’s continued success and supporting them in future recruitment campaigns.
I can only recommend this company. Very professional approach followed by many opportunities. Marta spent a significant amount of time with me on the phone trying to identify exactly what it is that I am looking for. The whole process felt very natural and smooth
So I was head hunted by a woman from this company - who's name I wont expose. At first the opportunity seemed very promising, the company made me complete an assessment etc. After the woman took my details to book an interview, i was simply ghosted. I had left several messages and tried to follow up to no avail. The company simply do not care, and have no professionalism or etiquette - only if your willing to get on your knees for them

If you receive a LinkedIn message/call from this company RUN! DO NOT ANSWER/ DECLINE & IGNORE! Whatever you do not waste your time taking their assessment or even bothering with this company. Believe all of the reviews they waste time. Contact you to ghost you it’s a weird fantasy role play going on with this company.
Very strange company on the talent acquisition team’s part. I attended a recruitment day on June 16th, thought it went pretty well & waited for the outcome - I was told Monday the latest. Monday came and went and I heard nothing, so I emailed the Jessica Aldridge the talent acquisition consultant who had told me about the recruitment day on Tuesday and asked when to expect an outcome. She told me that she’d call me at 5:30 on the same day, but I still heard nothing. I just think it would’ve been nice to receive a phone call about my outcome rather than be completely ghosted. After spending 8 hours in the office, the least I deserved was some communication and a piece of feedback to use in the future. Disappointed because I thought quite highly of the company until now.
Warning to any potential company looking to use this recruiter. They agree to terms over the phone and then don’t adhere to the Nat was agreed and then purposely withhold their written terms of business until the recruitment process has concluded and are the only recruiter in this or any other sector I’ve seen whose terms are one page in length and basically just state they’ll provide a candidate for £x amount, do nothing else and have no rebate mentioned other than a vague statement about the recruitment service being satisfactory. They provide second rate staff and yet hold themselves out as ‘High End Recruiters’ AVOID
I went here for an interview and was dealt with appallingly. Initially I was recruited for their financial branch, and then for talent acquisition, but I was told the same thing by both: that it was “concerning” that I had hobbies and that it was “too much”. According to them, I belong to the company even on weekends, and outside interests are wholly discouraged. I was also told on no uncertain terms that, should I join the company, I would not be allowed to undertake a Masters or PhD in the future either. What I get up to in my free time is completely up to me, provided it’s healthy and keeps me happy and my mental health in check. Aside from this, Phaidon never actually got in touch with me after they said they’d give me a call to tell me the outcome. I find this disgraceful as I had taken time out of my day and paid for the transport to go to their offices, and they couldn’t even be bothered to send me a brief email. Severely unprofessional and a very weird and controlling company. Would not recommend applying for employment here - I feel I dodged a bullet.
