BRILLIANT. so good my wife and other mums have booked kids again to another PGL. food was great and staff were brilliant. Accommodation was new basic with bunk beds and absolutely fine. Me and wife and son loved it.
My family and I had a great time here. We were so happy they catered to vegans, this is extremely important to us since my whole family and I are vegan. The activities were lots of fun for my family and I. The only thing we didn't care for and what we think they could improve on, is their rooms. They were super hot, the bedding was itchy and uncomfortable. The staff here is amazing! Iona was are favorite person, that we met, that worked here. My kids loved her and she was super easy to talk to. Also, she told us more about the manor itself, which honestly, was my favorite thing about PGL. They should definitely have tours of the manor. It's amazing!
Enjoyed visiting PGL Bawdsey. Fab grounds, lovely manor. Do check that's where you will stay as there is accommodation in other blocks. Rooms are clean and newly furnished. Good food choices, but high in carbs. Staff friendly and appear to love their jobs. Activities are all brand new and great...as long as it doesn't rain. There is little to do inside. Staff say there are plans to expand activities. Great for school residential or uniformed groups.

My 10 year old son and I had the most amazing time at PGL Bawdsey Manor last week. All of the staff could not have been more kind and enthusiastic, and they really made this a standout weekend. The activities are well organised and there is enough time between each to catch your breath, but the days are full and just fly past. We meet other lovely families and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Prepare to be challenged, but everything is done with safety in mind and you can relax on that front. Accommodation is tidy and clean, and there is a bar for the parents and a tuck shop for the kids. My son is already planning his next trip to PGL.
It was a great atmosphere when going, with the coastal view and the lovely manor house which we didn't sleep in, but we did have en suites in our room!. The bedrooms were very nice and roomy, although the bottom bunk on the bunk beds were likely to bang their head on the top bunk as they're quite small. The mattresses were very hard as well. Most of the staff were nice and helpful and most of the activities were very enjoyable, such as Coastal Walk or the Capture the Flag evening activity. Food was good to some extent, although I did see a fly or two around some of the meals. There is a salad bar on site and there is a lovely chalk board saying if the meals are halal, gluten free etc. For a first time visit, it was very nice, but a second time wouldn't be very exciting.
Amazing place. Stayed in a beautiful room over looking the sea. Activities were brilliant for the xhdren and amazing group leaders. Highly recomend.
We've been going to PGL for years but and this one is really excellent. Staff brilliant, all of them. Kids loving it. Food great.
Has a professional I loved it ! The children loved it more , fabulous setting, great staff ,super food and lots of adventures
