Lovely staff and pet friendly with the vets inside. Always clean enough and a great selection of items. My dog loves coming here due to her stomach, squeaky toys, meeting other dogs and to be given a treat at the counter before we leave. Due to her very small size an extra benefit is climbing under the shelves to get more treats which have been dropped from the pick a mix. Hahaha. Only reason one less start being I've gone several times for the bouncy balls but they've been out of stock for months.
Lovely shop for all your pet supplies. 2 young females at the counter. One dealing with customer and the other watching. She made no attempt to serve me. I had to wait for the one who was already busy. Thought she may have been training, but no she was just selective!
Pets at Home is a great store for your pets. It is located at Gillingham Business Park which is near to Rainham on the A2. This store has an extremely wide range of products and caters for all the needs of your pets from food to healthcare and everything in between. There is a wide selection of toys that will entertain and tire out your pets and bring amusement to the owners as well. You can purchase live animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, Syrian hamsters, Roborovski dwarf hamsters and Russian dwarf hamsters. You can view all theses animals which are on display in their own glass cages. A wide variety of fish are available to purchase too. You can view these in the many glass fish tanks at the rear of the shop. There is live food such as locusts, hoppers, morio worms and meal worms on offer for the various pets you have that like a live snack. There is a dog grooming department which is located down stairs at the back of the shop. You can have your dog among other things, bathed, brushed, styled. The cost of this will depend on what you have done. There is a veterinary section up stair at the back of the store called VETS4PETS. It caters for all the health needs of your pets. It has an operating theatre, hospital ward, in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, dentistry and pet healthcare plans. This department is open 7 days a week. You can reach this department either by stairs or a customer lift. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about pet care and can give you advice regarding your pets . You can bring your dogs into the store provided they are on a lead. If you have a pet and need anything, this is the place to come. It is a great store!
Went hete simply because yhey had the product that I needed. Unfortunately said product was in a locked cabinet and no apparent staff nearby. After seeing only one till open and a large queue was tempted to leave, but went in search of staff to help. I found 3 members of staff chatting together in costume and playing with furry toys, upon asking if any of them worked there, as it wasn't immediately apparent, one giggled and pointed at a colleague and said, she does. They did indeed make the product available to me and then opened the other checkouts
We visited the groom parlour absolutly fabulous service, very friendly staff, made our puppy feel welcome and safe, they did a fantastic job, I would highly recomend. Very clean and efficient. Thank you to all the lovely ladies today, will definitely be going back.
Staff are fairly good but not overly knowledgeable. Can get most things for your pets but not the massive selection a store this size could/should have.

Had my elderly westie Lily washed and cut by Molly. Was a bit apprehensive as Lily is partially sighted and going deaf. Needn't have worried. She was very well taken care of and looked gorgeous. Thank you girls.
