Went to pets at home gillingham for the first time in December and had a great experience. Spoke to a man can't remember his name only remember he had a dwaft hamster himself about pet choices. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and we ended up bring home the most gentle and friendly hamster any one could ask for. He made sure the pet was the right fit for us by letting us see them all and seeing each pets personality. If I would every to buy a pet agian that would be the place I would go.
Took me and my partners rabbits here for a health check and first vaccinations. The vet was perfect in every way. Talked us through everything and was super helpful. The only thing that let the whole experience down was a young chap at the counter when purchasing our rabbit food and other bits. He questioned everything like we was stupid. I understand making sure that its everything we need and making sure we have the correct bits. But he really did make my partner feel super uncomfortable. And you should never assume people dont know anything.
I took my cockapoo dog to be groomed today, I particularly said I didn’t want her cut too short! To take about and inch off all over, when I went back to pick her up she had literally been scalped!!! I honestly didn’t recognize her at first! I complained and was told that it was in her best interest as she was matted, I know this isn’t true because I brush her daily and if I find any knots I cut them out. I honestly believe because it was nearing the end of the groomers shift they wanted her finished quickly instead of doing a good job they were too lazy to comb her through!!! I will not be returning and will tell anyone else that they are not fit to be called groomers! They are rude and unapologetic, no customer care at all!!! Photos below to show the extent of their disregard for my instructions!
All the reps escaped the store today!
The staff at this store care about their aquatic section and it shows. The tanks were absolutely spotless and the fish were vibrant and healthy, tbh they seem better cared for than at some aquatic shops. Amazing work, put some of my aquariums to shame.
