I don’t know why, but I expected the Peter Pan statue to be in a more prominent, tidy garden. Instead, it’s stuck in front a random group of young trees and lots of unkept bushes and overgrown grass and weeds. If the idea is to create a field meadow type of landscaping, then they need to plant much more colorful and eye appealing flora than this.
Please be careful. Someone has messed with the direction sign post near the Italian fountains and gardens. WARNING: You will not see Peter Pan as the sign post is pointed the wrong way. We used our phone app to locate the statue.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Lovely bronze statue of Peter Pan, with Wendy at his feet. Nice details with rabbits etc. Over a 100yrs since it was placed here. I first came here when I was 8yrs with my father, 40yrs ago. I just wish that parents/adults didn't allow their children to climb the statue. The park should really put a sign on the gate to say No Climbing.
Just a nice little stop off for the kids but I couldn’t get the sound to work, maybe you’ll have better luck. The statue itself is exquisite with some very fine work done on the characters. You can spend some time trying to name them all. We were here on a beautiful day which was pretty hot so it was nice to be in some shade for a while.
A nice spot in the park that doesn’t get too crowded. The statue is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. There is even a pond right across that is scenic and calming, where one can view the Italian Gardens. Unfortunately, there are no benches or seating nearby.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A nice landmark whilst walking in the park. There is a pond opposite and the walk is lovely.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
As someone who loves the story of Peter Pan as well as its author, you will love and enjoy this statue! It is picturesque. The details of the children and fairies are wonderfully made.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
The statue of Peter Pan is a 1912 bronze sculpture of J. M. Barrie's character  Peter Pan. It was commissioned by Barrie and made by Sir George Frampton.Barrie's stories were inspired in part by the gardens: the statue is at the place where Peter Pan lands in Barrie's 1902 book The Little White Bird after flying out of his nursery. Six other casts made by Frampton have been erected in other places around the world.
Wanted to see it as we were going to see Peter Pan with Boy George in the evening. The statue was lovely to see and so detailed.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNo
