My beloved westie Bert passed away at 14.5 years and although it was inevitable he would leave us, it is heartbreaking and so painful. I cried my way through the arrangements with Claire and she was so very kind, patient and so understanding. I have just collected his ashes today and I am overwhelmed with gratitude on how I received him. Every detail is so beautifully considered, including the secure packaging for bringing him home. He will rest forever in a beautiful casket and this brings me peace. I was also touched by the attention to detail on his his fur was presented to me as well as his paw print. I cannot thank you enough for the service I have received at this sad time and it brings me comfort knowing he was treated with respect and dignity. Thank you for your wonderful support and we will treasure his beautiful box forever.
On receiving my cat Buster ashes they were beautifully presented in a bluebell scatter tube. The whole presentation was beyond what I was expecting. Marie was very easy to speak to. Would certainly recommend them and would use them again .
I had always dealt with my vet direct upon the loss of a pet and never even knew the pet Crematorium existed until this week. Unfortunately the vet forgot to arrange my little dogs cremation and was only remembered about 2 weeks after his death. Upon finding this out, I found the Pet crematorium on Google and gave them a call. Louise was so friendly and lovely and offered to have my wee dog collected and cremated that day. Due to the way he'd been forgotten though, I opted to collect him myself and drop him off. They gave me time alone in the car to say a final goodbye again before coming to collect him from me. I was advised it could take up to 3 days but after dropping him off at 2.30pm on the Wednesday, was called at 11am the very next day to say he was ready t come home. Alfie was returned in the most beautiful box and casket with a lovely card inside too. The staff all handled both him and myself with greatest of care and dignity and really made you feel like you and your wee dog mattered to them. I'll never now trust the vet again a the end of my pets life and will always call the Pet crematorium directly to entrust them with these arrangements. I honestly cannot thank them enough for helping me through a really difficult time and for getting my wee man back home to me so quickly Highly recommend
Spoke with a lovely lady Claire, as I hadn't been given correct information at my vets. Claire was fantastic as I was literally all over the place. Rubus' ashes were returned promptly and beautifully presented. Didn't know this place existed but I'm thoroughly grateful for the attention given to me and Rubus. Thank you all
Winston our Big Boy passed away on Tuesday morning at home. My daughter was too distraught to do anything other than bawl her heart out. Contacted and spoke to Louise who could not have been nicer or more respectful and understanding that we were so heartbroken. Was able to make arrangement on the phone and two of the staff members came to daughters to collect our Winnie. So respectful and treated with complete dignity and compassion. Previous experience with loss of our other pets means we would not consider going anywhere else to ensure our darlings are treated as we would expect. Thank you for your services.
I suppose I should start with the positive. The frontage of the building is lovely, unlike other industrial units that others have. There is a lovely garden of remembrance right next to the car park, albeit closed due to Covid-19. Our Dog was returned to us in a beautifully presented scatter tube set in a lovely box and an individual cremation certificate within. Sadly though, my final memory of my beloved pet is one I am unable to forgive or forget. He was unceremoniously removed from the back seat of our car where we had lovingly placed him and laid on what could be described as an old metal trolley you would use for moving paving slabs. With his head hanging off the back he was wheeled across the bumpy car park and my last memory was blood and fluid dripping from his nose leaving a trail across the car park, something I shall never be able to wipe from my memory. I dread to think how he was handled when inside the building out of sight. COVID-19 has resulted in many restrictions however I fail to see how it can be used as an excuse for such treatment. Shame on the Pet-Crematorium, Larkhall.
I would like to thank Michael for his help and the respect he showed when making arrangements for my wee guinea pig. We requested that her ashes be placed inside a memory bear we had for her late sister. Michael went above and beyond by labelling them so we could differentiate between the two before returning the bear safely today, not even 2 full days later. We are so very grateful for the regard and consideration shown, it has certainly helped to make an awful situation that bit better. Thank you!x
Our wee poppy was collected today by Claire. To describe the service so far ide say our poppy went in style and dignity . Looking forward now to receiving her back with us in her lovely wee ashes canister and our souvenirs. . Thank you . So today we collected our wee poppy in the most adorable little round green box . Our souvenirs were just what we wanted . We can't thank you enough for the service, the service of this company is 2nd to none . From my 1st phone call to collecting her today , thank you to everyone involved. 10/10 . Live from poppy's family x
We lost our beautiful boy 4 weeks ago and I am completely heartbroken . My husband contacted the crematorium after our boy passed peacefully at home, we decided to keep him at home that night and take him direct to the Crem the next morning. The staff where extremely helpful from the first phone call to collecting his ashes. We were giving all the time we needed to say goodbye They were also very understanding when I broke down in tears when picking up his ashes. I also got a Clay mould of his paw prints and it came in a lovely little box that matched his urn. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care and compassion they showed towards my family and my wonderful fur baby. Saying goodbye is extremely difficult but they made it a little easier so thank you .
Really unhappy at the way I was treated when I brought my beautiful cat in for cremation. I was shown no care, or even a kind word, as I was clearly very upset at the death of my beloved girl. All Claire did was try to sell me more and more unnecessary stuff, get the forms filled out, take my money, and leave me to it. No compassion or understanding shown. I even had to call them to arrange to collect the ashes. Total apathy on their part.
