Receptionists are rude and patronising, and do not listen, once called up because my allergies had caused my eyes to swell shut, they told me to fill out a form i explained I couldn’t and was met with straight rudeness. the only way to get an appointment is through an online form which closes in the middle of the day ??? and all mental health problems i have had have been brushed off and met with a sense of exasperation which has made them worse and treatment has both been flat out refused and taken away while i was actively suffering. Qualified mental health professionals have told me symptoms I am experiencing are “very severe” whereas GPs here Dr Freeman have told me that they’re “normal and nothing to worry about”
One of the worst i have ever come across.am sure there are some good doctors there but it is impossible to get an appt online and receptionists rude. Meant to look after university students but my daughter was directed to google her problems. Avoid
Ok so today I am in bed in respiratory failure in awlfull pain in knees wearing 2 braces been up all night as now back and hip pain done a online they offered me an oppointment I said I could not get out of bed and then phone back to say phone end of next week if U feel that is a good service I think it is a disgusting and no help to me thank you for all your help NOT
Had a medical issue back in march , was told basically nothing can be done and when i googled the medical problem turns out there is a treatment , so i went to see the same doctor today after waiting for an appointment for two weeks from when the form was filled out, I told the doctor about this treatment and she had to goggle it and agreed that there is a treatment , she then went on to tell me it isn't available in the south west ,so i would have to wait till my medical problem got worse and then surgery would be offered at a later date. where as the treatment I found and which is available on the NHS would prevent the need for this surgery and save money in the long run, I told her i didn't mind travelling to get the treatment and was told to arrange for the treatment myself privately and to call the surgeon in Bristol , this is totally outrageous, treatment should be available on the NHS and I want it, i am prepared to wait and all this GP needs to do is write a referral ! Im not happy at all with my treatment today,
It’s so rare to find a doctor that actually looks at you holistically and doesn’t throw medication at you and rush you out the door. Dr Abbas was really thorough and kind and understanding.
