My first time in Penkridge after walking down the canal from Stafford only came here to visit the market's which i was late, i found getting to the station was ok and couldn't see any attendants but there's plenty of signs around so you get the right train on the right platform
The station supposedly has free parking and is completely unstaffed and baron with minimal seating and shelter. There's at least a ticket machines, permit to travel and both platforms have step free access via ramps and a subway which is really nice. Trains seem decently frequent towards Stafford, Crewe, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
Excellent free parking on local nearby roads. Me and my friends use this station instead of Stafford all the time as the parking is totally free and unlimited.
Not stopped or visited Penkrige but past it while travelling up north but at one time was one of the stations lacking easy access but recently saw something done about it take it you can wheel a bike over without struggling up the stairs
