We ate in the restaurant/cafe and the food was mediocre, portion a bit small, my husband has hollow legs, so we decided to pop to the takeaway shop and grabbed a traditional pasty and a vegetable one, and we were oh so pleased we did. Good size and delicious, so many companys these days they put 10 times the amount of pepper needed and double it for good measure and these didn't, wish we'd got more to take home and freeze.
The perfect pasties! I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone interested in finding one of the best pasties you will ever have! Excellent service from the amazing chefs, and front of house team. There is a proper seating area, but if you want the true experience, you have to eat it out of a bag, on the go. Thanks for such a wonderful experience, I'll definitely be returning when I'm next in the area!
Delicious Cornish bakery with several others across Cornwall. Great choice of local taste and even bakers working behind the counter. Not to miss if you fancy a Cornish pasty!
You have to try the cheese straw I know this is a chain of pasty makers but this is literally the most nicest smelling pasty shop! I’d give the traditional pasty a 6/10 rating it wasn’t as nice as others I’ve been but over all really nice shop and should try other pasty too! Maybe next time.

Best sausage roll we’ve ever had! I had to come back and buy more after tasting one in the car park getting ready for our 6 hr drive back to London. Shop is very tidy and clean, staff friendly and great coffee too!
We loved visiting there cafe for delicious cappuccinos. The cafe is spotless warm and very comfortable with friendly service. The pasties we bought next door to take home were huge and delicious.
Lovely spotlessly clean looking place but unfortunately I dont rate the pasties at all. The filling wasn't very tasty steak and the pastry was dry. I was disappointed and I thought that other tourist's from other countries sampling a cornish pasty for the first time would wonder what the hype is.
Really good shop and cafe. We bought some produce to take away, rather than to eat in. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The prices of the food and condiments were really good and the food was delicious. Next time I visit,I would stop off and have something to eat inside. A good selection of items to buy at good prices. Shop was clean, tidy and well stocked.
absolutely awful pasties! had steak and stilton and also the veg one steak and stilton- way too much pastry and it was very plain, hardly any meat, mainly just potato and onion, could barely taste the stilton. veg- very very plain, extremely bland and had no flavour at all. too much pastry compared to the contents inside. absolutely not worth £9.35/£8.35 each worst place i have ever eaten a pasty would absolutely give it a miss and go to the cornish bakery across the road.
