Amazing food, really cozy atmosphere. They're card only and I only had cash but one of the staff members was nice enough to use their own card and I gave them the cash. All the pastries we tried were fresh and warm, and my husband said it's the best pasty he's ever had.
Most delicious Natas - warmed them in the oven, perfect accompaniment to our morning coffee. Delightful service with a smile from Lynnette. Will be going back tomorrow!
Was lucky to stumble upon this beautiful quaint little cornish pastry shop during my UK travels & visit in Tintagel. I highly recommend this place. Best pastry shop in the town. The pastries are cooked fresh and from scratch. Purely magic. They are the best pastries I have ever had in my life. I had the cherry pudding pastry & the veggie onion cornish pastry. Perfectly paired with my chamomile tea with milk & honey. 1000% visit this place.
The traditional pasties were very good, but the sweet ones were just amazing. I can only recommend the apple and rhubarb with custard pasties. Nice staff and a nice place to sit, eat and drink a hot cup. Vegetarian options: They have vegan pasties as well.
Pasties were superb, nice friendly people. Do try coffee , you’ll love it. Only thing that is negative is the extra charges if you dine in. If you taking it out then normal price.
Had a lovely lunch here with my wife. Pasties were scrumptious and very reasonably priced, the staff are lovely and friendly. The ketchup was also amazing! Recommended dishesTraditional Cornish Pasty
Wonderful place to get traditional cornish pasties as well as a host of other baked goods both sweet and savoury! I had the traditional flavour and size, and it was more than filling. Vegetarian options: They even have vegetarian pasties!
Ok well after a week In Tintagel I think I should have just bought this bakery, I can not recommended this bakery enough. First the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful with recommendations and knowledgable about the products. Then the very best Cornish pasty I have ever had I first visited last year and tried the traditional Cornish pasty which is the best I have had. This time I have tried the cheese and onion, Thai Chicken and the pork and apple cider also the origional sausage rolls. I rate every one as 5 star tasting delicious in its own unique way. My personal favourite has to be the Cheese and Onion but that just a personal preference. I also had the very difficult task of sampling the cakes over the week I would highly recommended the Cornish pudding similar In texture to bread and butter pudding but not in taste very very tasty almonds chocolate and assorts of taste coming out in each bite. Tried most of the cakes in the shop and again all unique and tasty in different ways. I only found one a little dry for me and that was the Blackberry slice but people taste very. Now on to morning Croissant just try them all lol. For a bakery the price are slightly higher than average but for the quality fantastic value for money. Next November will be in Newquay and I know there are Cornish Bakery closer to my location but I will travel over just because of the friendly helpful staff.
Welcome was cold even though the weather was atrocious so it was clear why customers were coming in. The staff were having different conversations whilst serving so we had to order our two coffees three times. All of the tables were dirty & for ‘the world’s best pasty’ claim I would expect there to actually be a reasonable amount of meat in there not just 3 small lumps up one end. We will not be back. We stayed for a total of 10 mins it was so bad.
Just grabbed a couple of frozen pasties for later, but I was very impressed. The food was very nice, comforting, and for me, a great introduction to Cornish pasty. Service was warm and welcoming.Food: 5/5
