Excellent quality and workmanship. Sorted out a nasty dent in the side of my van and it now looks brand new again. Barry is a gent who not only sorted out the mess my van was in but gave me a lift home and picked me up again to pick up the van when it was finished. I thought I'd need a new side panel welded in as well as a complete, side re-spray but Barry the owner has all the equipment necessary to fix almost any dent and he'll gladly show you around his workshop and explain to you exactly what he plans to do with your damaged vehicle. By having the skills and equipment to repair the damage to my van rather than replace a whole panel section, he cut my final bill in half and the end result is nothing short of amazing. I've attached some before and after pictures so you can see for yourself. Cheers Barry, top man!
I used Penge Autos for a dent and scratch on one panel of my car. Barry and his team were great, very friendly and professional. Having received quotes from a number of other garages, I could see that their quote was fair and reasonable. However the important thing is the quality of the work, and the repair was of the highest quality, with the panel looking as good as new, with the paintwork matching exactly. The work was also completed on time. I would definitely recommend.
Brought in my Mini for a quote after it had been dented while parked. On the spot, Barry got on the phone with Mini/BMW to get a quote for the parts and came up with a quote for spraying and fitting that was substantially lower than others. As you can see on the photos, the colour is spot on and it looks like new. - everything done and dusted in less than 4 days.
This is the second car that Barry and his sons have done and they have gone beyond with this one. Needing two wings and a bonnet done and a little bit of welding, Barry wasn't happy and wanted to do a perfect job and so decided to respray the whole car. Blown away by the job they have done and at no extra cost. Rare to find that nowadays and I would thoroughly recommend them.
I took a set of alloy wheels to the shop to be sprayed. I spoke to Barry who seems like really genuine guy, I paid £200 for 4 wheels to be done in black. He said something along the lines of, up close you might notice one or two imperfections but otherwise they will be spot on. The first time the wheels were put back into the boxes I suppled and the cardboard left impressions on the spokes. I guess the wheels had not cured. The 2nd time the cardboard indentations were fixed/polished out but I noticed loads of raised bumps and marks in the paint. The 3rd time, my boss took them back to Barry's shop but there was only so much Barry could do at this stage. This was over maybe a 4-6 weeks, had to keep calling up to see if the wheels were ready etc There was probably 100 imperfections on one of the wheels. Overspray on the backs, big blobs of paint, edges of the rim with paint missing. Some of the spokes were immaculate, really brilliant black, smooth etc but then some of them looked a right mess. Our tyre fitter didn't want to fit any tyres to them because he said it would just remove the paint on the edge and it did. Had to use a touch up pen on them. They were put on to a Japanese car that we sold, 6 months later the owner is moaning that all the paint is falling off. It's a shame as we deal in alloys and wanted to find a decent sprayer that was local.. To be fair Barry didn't hide about the situation, maybe it was just a bad month for them. But after the poor finish and long wait time we're not recommending them. There's no excuse for the work you allowed to leave your shop. My associate told me you pointed at a Mustang outside your shop and said you can match the quality of the paint on the wheels but up close there might be a few imperfections. That was not the final product we revived. Looks like you sprayed the rims with sand.

Excellent work on my vehicle, I have used Barry for various other jobs and he has always delivered each and every time. I would recommend highly, he will keep you updated every step of the way. Very honest and prompt service. Excellent work by Barry very high standard as per usual. Highly recommended company, I will be bringing more vehicles to him in the future. Barry and the guys have done an excellent job on my Grand Voyager. I asked them to put another tailgate and rear bumper on for me, which they did after removing blemishes from them. The spray job they did on them is First-class. They even removed a dent elsewhere on the car which I hadn't thought about. My car looks better than it did when I got it. I would recommend Penge Auto Sprays to anyone. Thank you Barry and team.
For someone who only went on the reviews to pick someone to take care of my car, I have to say I am so pleased with the job. Two things you should know about Penge Auto Sprays, and in particular it’s boss Barry: 1. They are absolute professionals and their work is pretty much faultless 2. Barry is the most approachable and friendly man I’ve met from the auto industry. My cars paintwork had been badly damaged and I had driven around south London getting quotes. The first person I went to was charging close to £3k?! I am glad I came across this place as when I received my quote it was significantly less. After the work had been completed and I received my car back it literally looked better than new. I am very, very happy with the results and therefore fully recommend this place. Also if you have any issues you can always go back and they are happy to address any of your concerns.
