Beautiful and well maintained, the flowers were lovely and it's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon
Not been since I was a child but they've done it up and moved the play park over slightly it's so much better and my son loved it
A lovely park in the hart of Manchester. A beautiful place to relax or take a walk by the river side.
One of my favourite parks, even in the winter. During the spring flower beds are planted and the trees are gorgeous. There’s a beautiful river streaming through that just adds to the calming atmosphere of the place.
Did the 5k parkrun here, great venue largely flat and many of the paths are wide, so plenty of room.
Cutest park near to Manchester City Centre. Beautiful gardens Riverside walks We can find small Kids play area in the entrance. Salfords most lively place to visit Sunny days are busy sometimes Usually people used to come for walks and jogging and specially for some occasional events. Playground: There’s small play area for kids with some activities
Nice park to play games and have fun with friends and family.
Nice little park in the heart of Manchester City. Quite crowded on a sunny day as it’s close to University. Perfect place to walk or chill near the lake or in garden. You’ll see people reading, playing, even doing barbecue . There’s a little playground for kids as well. Beautiful flower beds. Definitely recommend to anyone nearby!
Very beautiful park located opposite to Salford Museum and Art Gallery. There are plenty to tracks to walk, old trees, playground, bridge with view for the river. I seen Canadian gees there. Great place for walk alone or with dog, meeting and chatting with friends.
NOTE I USED GOOGLE MAPS FOR DIRECTIONS USING THE POSTCODE GIVEN ON HERE AND ON WEB SITE AND WAS TAKEN TO THE MIDDLE OF A LARGE VERY BUSY ROUNDABOUT! In itself a nice park. Plenty of bins, benches and picnic benches. The park is well maintained and even at this time of year there were flowers in bloom. I saw stacks of flowers waiting to be planted so should be lovely in the summer. The park is next to a couple of rugby pitches so lots of room for dogs to run about. The river Irwell runs alongside the park and there were a few ducks and swans on there. Loss of stars as no car park and no toilets. There are toilets inside the museum and there is a small car park there too, which has charges. I parked on a small piece of private land which also charged. You cam pay online or over the phone so need a debit card.
