This place was amazing.. took my two girls and they loved it.. seeing calf's and cows and been able to get up close to them was by far the highlight of our stay .. the toilets and cleaning facilities for a farm was more than adequate and clean. There's even a little tuk-shop on site which is very fairly priced .. the owners are very friendly and approachable who will take time out of there busy schedule to ensure your kids have a great experience I would highly recommend this place from places I've tried out this is a 10 out of 10 ..
Our second time camping here and it won't be our last. Fantastic addition is the honesty shop, snacks, fresh eggs, drinks, books, games, dvd's to borrow if you choose.....and the ice cream is to die for. Spotless facilities, super friendly as ever.....we will be back
A beautifully quiet and small site. There were 4 or 5 full pitches on a July weekend. A lovely view over the hills. A couple of toilets and a shower. A well equipped wooden block that had a fridge and small freezer for visitors to use. Inside sink for washing up. A few games available to borrow. We enjoyed Triominoes! A couple of shelves with basic things we might have forgotten and an honesty box for these. Also local ice cream available in a separate freezer with an honesty box. We enjoyed some fresh eggs too. We were here for our son to do the Yorkshire Moors Struggle cycling event starting at Ampleforth and this was well placed for that. Also a little village called Gilling that has a miniature railway at the village hall giving rides sometimes. Quite a unique little place.
This is my second time camping here. It’s a brilliant site with such friendly owners. I love it here . It’s a working farm . The facilities are really clean and the whole site has a cosy feel. It’s really well placed with York a short way away, the Yorkshire moors and the Dales too. Whitby and Robin Hood Bay. There’s a co-op in Easingwold for groceries.
Short and sweet one night stoppver for us but what a little gem this place is. Fantastic views in a rural location, clean facilities. Wish we could have stayed and chilled for a bit longer!
Beautiful and small camping in a quiet location. With clean restrooms.
Lovely small campsite in a peaceful valley. Social distancing in place, but applied sensibly. The facilities were clean and suitable for families. Family sized shower was very useful. Fresh eggs for sale, which were delicious. You can hear cows mooing and moving about, along with some of the milking machinery, but it was quite pleasant countryside sounds. The family who run the farm are friendly and helpful. We will be back for another stay!
Fantastic campaign! Our little girls been looking for milking cows. The area is really quite and clean. Recommended!
Really nice campsite with everything you need for a very good price! People were really friendly too, can recommend this to everyone :
Fabulous little CL/CS worth at least 5 stars if not more. Wonderful owners who are happy to show you around the farm, with VERY fresh milk and eggs available. All EHU pitches also have fresh drinking water too. Showers and toilets are also available. If you're arriving from the south I'd strongly advise that you follow their guidance on the website; you can get through in Easingwold, but going past the Golf Club is much easier especially if you have a larger combination. Absolutely recommended.
