Good stopover for us on our way south from Bamburgh. We arrived late for the night and so did not have much time to explore. We had a friendly welcome and access to an EHU and toilet shower unit which was close to the pitch we were given. Maybe the light in the shower/toilet could stay on a bit longer as there is no natural light in the ladies toilet and it went off while I was getting dressed... Fortunately I had taken my torch as I guessed that might happen Would definitely use again for a quick stopover or a visit to York as there is a good park and ride option fairly close to this site.
A really nice owner bonny kept site clean toilet and shower facilities but you have to keep pressing button in the shower not so good and not a lot of places to walk the dogs would visit for a night if i passed again

Wonderful people who do everything to help and are very friendly. Lovely clean site that's in the countryside but not too far out. Excellent prices. Highly recommend
Great caravans, lovely people, highly recommend
We take the kids camping here as it's in a great location, some brilliant walks and attractions nearby. The owners are lovely and very helpful and there is a nice little micro community on site. The kids love the small play area and the nearby Maize Maze in Easingwold Summer Only, which is a lovely little town.
Good choice of food and pleasent hard working staff.
