Had an amazing afternoon tea, in fact the best afternoon tea I have had and I have had a few at a very reasonable price. The staff were excellent and even baked fresh scones for us to take home whilst we ate our meal. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
I ordered a bacon and egg roll today in the restaurant. I asked for the rind to be removed from the bacon, to be told “ It comes as it comes” How rude!! I thought this was a reasonable request so I’m not impressed with the customer service. I have been a returning customer for years. I am not impressed and this has put me off returning
A very busy Monday lunchtime. Lady behind counter was taking orders and making drinks which may have been slowing things down a bit. However, the lady was amazingly chirpy, polite and had her finger on the pulse. It was great to listen to her. She could run training courses on customer service. Overall, I wonder if the menu is too comprehensive for the size of the place. I kept finding more offerings on different cards and blackboards. First timer, will return. Delicious steak pie
Visited yesterday after the garden centre for a coffee and snack. Very clean and friendly place. For me personally I thought it was a little pricey but im still coming to terms with the current inflation. We had 2 cups of coffee, sausage roll and a cornish pasty. That came to around £16. I have included the menu on the photos. Outside seating available with a little play area for the kids.
We booked for afternoon tea and there was a mix up about our booking, the staff turned it round and we were served our amazing afternoon tea with smiles all round. Our compliments and thanks for your honesty. Vegetarian options: We had afternoon tea, one was vegetarian and the food was ample and varied.
My husband and I went to the garden centre, which was lovely. We decided to go to the cafe for a coffee and cake, it was quite busy, unfortunately there was no atmosphere and the staff running the food were very miserable, one of the waitresses was slamming things down on the table, we weren’t the only people to notice, such a shame, the cafe itself looks very tired
Haven’t been for ages and popped along today. Food amazing hot turkey roll, excellent value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The lady taking the orders is lovely and I Hope she has a lovely ChristmasFood: 5/5
Went there for a luch with the family, the service was good and the food was fantastic. The garden centre and play area were good.Food: 5/5
Not been here for a while just popped in for a hot drink. Long queue which took ages as only one person on the till and also making the drinks. Latte was microwaved and really weak, tea was not great either. Not a great experience and wouldn't go back which is a shame as used to visit regularlyService: 3/5
