nice place for a walk, there are benches on the side of the houses you can admire the sunsets, go down the stairs, no parking lot at least we parked on the street, dog friendly
Breathtaking views!! There are few benches towards the houses area. Very picturesque. Excellent place for a sunset. Little walk downstairs with a concrete boardwalk available, well maintained, built recently I think, but steep stairs.
It's pretty, but not sure it's worth the drive or hike. Much more scenic places around without worrying about ruining your car, but that could have been Google maps fault. Not a patch on the cliffs of Western Ireland, that's for sure. ‍
Took a drive down to Peacehaven, it was a Sunday evening so we parked in a residential road then walked down to the cliff top and followed it down to the promenade. I think there are a couple of carparks out on the main road then it's bit of walk. I've never seen rock formations like this on a beach before so it was really surprising and not a beach you can relax on but it made a really beautiful sunset dog walk as it cooled down! From one set of steps down to the other end was about 20 minute walk and about 60 steps to climb up the top so take your inhaler if you need one!! I wouldn't say this is wheelchair or pram friendly in the areas we walked.
Wonderful landscape, and a long easy route to take from just outside of Brighton on a sunny day. Great to see a mix of wildlife along with way too, including falcons and herons.
