First experience of this area, and walk, tide was in and wind was brisk, so just followed the route to Brighton.Need to return on a more favourable day.nCliffs are sheer, and daunting, but so good to be able to get up close to study them.nI returned today, 19.5.23, having heard about the giant ammonites, I was able to see them for myself. Simply amazing
A great site for collecting echinoids. I used to be able to find at least half a dozen a trip!nnThese days, the haul is reduced but I suspect that is due to the lack of a fresh cliff fall.nnNice and quiet most days with only a few crab collectors for company.
A really nice walk in the morning, while smelling the seabreeze and enjoying the sunshine.
Quiet. Quiet because there are 168 steps down and no bins or toilets for a mile.nnBeautiful though!nnThis was the filming location for a Mr. Bean episode!
SO BEAUTIFUL! I live near here and feel endlessly delighted to have as a place to walk. The many steps down to the seafront as brilliant exercise too. The walks along the cliffs to Newhaven are just stunning.
