I remember the time that this place first got opened and the excitement I had as I adore French patisseries. Everything looks so pretty in this shop, the staff is friendly as well. However, the taste...Either over the top sugary or bland, whatever I tasted.
It was pretty but not as nice as I expected for the price. The choux wasn't crispy and was stale. The pistachio slice was quite sweet. I felt it was a sales pitch when I went in, was told all of the flavours of the macarons.
Best dessert I've had in my life! Can't get over how good it is. The staff is super friendly as well, highly recommend!
I really really wanted to love the food from here. I walked past so many times and just loved taking in all the amazing things they were making. The price always put me off but eventually I gave in and decided to treat myself as I love macarons and unique bakery items. So I bought a box of 10 macarons and a white chocolate cake. Expensive but I didn't realise it was a chain and so I was just happy to support a local business. Unfortunately I have to agree with other reviews...the food is just bland. None of the macarons had a discernable flavour - I get subtle, I understand subtle but these are just bland. The cake was a real disappointment too, tasted of nothing and in fact the sponge tasted just a little stale. Gave it 3 stars for the lovely staff who are really friendly.
Authentic fine French pastries. Tarts, cakes and choux pastries were all well-made and tasted great. Macaroons was a letdown - the filling tasted like nothing besides sugar. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, for that price we would have expected seating instead of just takeaway.
Pastries, cakes and macarons are top notch, very similar to some had in Paris! I love the decorations and atmosphere and the staff are always kind! It helps they're near Waterstones which means I always stop by to get a little something for later!
had some macarons to go and they were decent :
A lovely French pattiserrie that may be small but certainly packs a sugary punch! May cause the unavoidable dent to your wallet but as a treat you won't be disappointed. The mango, coconut and passion fruit gateau is fantastic! So is the vanilla flan! Unfortunately there are no places to sit so it's only a buy to go. The staff are lovely and French if I'm not mistaken. Definitely a go to for desserts!
I ordered their champagne and strawberry christmas log/bûche de noël. Better than most bûches de noël my guests and I have tried in our lives, both in appearence and flavour. I would not hesitate to trust Bisous Bisous for any occasion that calls for show-stopping dessert.
Can't get enough of this place. If you have a sweet tooth and an eye for quality, Bisous will serve you well. Well made, fresh deserts sold by some really polite and welcoming staff. The presentation here matters just as much as the taste and let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Better yet, they are now open with the relaxing of lockdown!
