Edit. This was for Robinsons Go. Soon. You won't regret it. Small family run bakery making things the old fashioned way. Fresh and tasty goods and friendly welcoming staff. Will be back for sure.
I’ve visited this bakery a few times and the food has always been so fresh and yummy. Recently I ordered a buffet for a party and the food was excellent. There was a huge variety of sandwich fillings and savoury options, catering for our veggie and vegan guests too. Also the most delicious and fluffiest cupcakes ever! Thank you
The bakery was rescued, jobs were saved. However , the home of the Manchester Tart is well dead and buried. The Martin's Bakery chain no longer bake it. This was the historical home of the iconic pastry. Isn't it a shame!. Keep asking for it is a possible solution.Food: 3/5
Was so looking forward to some Robinson's bread/oven bottoms for the first time in a year or so. To find out it has now been bought out by Martins, following the unfortunate closure of the bakery late last year.... The product doesn't even compare, not even close. Prices have gone up significantly. Some of the flat oven bottoms were raw in the middle and smelt vinegary. So sad that the once legendary name has closed. And now is imitated very poorly. RIP Robinson's
Gone far too expensive, some items a reduced in size and composition of ingredients ie custard pies are tasteless. On a positive note the bread products are nice and the staff are Friendly and welcoming.Food: 3/5
Great local and family run bakery. They offer everything you need…fresh bread, pastries, pies, cakes, buns! The works. They even prepare fresh hot and cold sandwiches, salads and breakfasts! What’s not to love. If you’re local to Failsworth I’m sure this place is a staple in your weekly shop. I am still yet to grab some sourdough as it seems to be their most popular bake! I definitely recommend their Lancashire Pasty.
Burnt to a crisp bacon and egg on toast probably didn’t have a sharp enough knife to cut it in half? Extortionate for the price. Boot leather in texture that my dog would struggle to chew, friendly staff
What a bunch of clowns. Ordered a sandwich over the phone and nipped out to get it only to be told they only take English money. I didn’t have my wallet or phone on me and I didn’t want to go all the way back home to fetch it. They’ve lost a customer now. Also contradicting themselves with their covid restrictions still in place but touching everything with their bare hands after handling money.
Always great pies and treats. And friendly staff, absolutely gutted it's having to close. Been around for so many years. All the best to the staff, hopefully another bakery may pop up somewhere.Food: 5/5
This used to be a really good bakery until Martins took over and did what they di best, deliver mediocre food at gourmet pricesFood: 2/5
