Great shop, staff there are really nice. The dude who works there is really nice. Good for a wee chat with him and has a great sense of humour.
My local wee shop for over 4 years. If I'm honest the main reason i go in is for the banter and Partick stories of the past. Met some great local characters in this place over the years, always nice to take a break from painting and pop in for a quick laugh and a packet of chocolate orange digestive busicuts. Ha ha. Great shop for daily essentials, movie night snacks and refreshments, household cleaning products and local information for people visiting area. A wee thank you also to the staff for staying open all through the pandemic. You are an asset to the community.
I went in to buy a can of juice and when I asked the guy behind the till if he took card, his reply was "threes a 20p charge if its under a fiver" I said that's illegal, he said "no its not" I said "Ok I'll just report you", he said "are you gonna pay my £180 bill a month for this". I'm not even surprised in the slightest at him trying to squeeze anything out anyone. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ROBBER - THERES A TESCO JUST A LITTLE FURTHER ALONG WHERE THINGS ARE CHEAPER
The lady behind the counter was on her phone the whole time while she was serving me. Once I had been served she gave the the bottle of liquid gold that I bought. One left the shop I noticed it had already been opened and half gone. When I asked for a refund I was not given one.
Best Shop in Partick. Providing a service to the local community for the last 40 years . Great hub for students. Always get a good laugh with the staff. Will be getting renamed back to Patrick Superstore by public demand . Marvellous.
Despicable, manky little shop. One of the young workers in there is so infamously rude to customers that I sometimes go in for the sport of it. Whether it's deliberately short-changing you or muttering curses under their breath in Punjabi, you're sure to be in for a toe-curlingly rancid time that'll shave years off your life. A horror show.
Still charging people for paying by card which is now illegal, when confronted about it the girl said it's because of the bank and pointed to a sign. This shouldn't matter ! I just went somewhere else instead
It's a very good and excellent shop.
Very handy shop with friendly staff.
