I tried to have a package shipped from the US to the UK for my sister who is a student at Glasgow University and the store owner REFUSED to release the package to my sister. My sister had both ID's plus a letter from Amazon stating they didn't need a code for delivery and they STILL refused and yelled at her and were EXTREMELY rude to her while she had me on the phone listening to the entire conversation. I would not recommend receiving amazon packages to this location they make it impossible. The worst customer service in the UK.
I am sure the shop is fine but the owner clearly doesn’t want to manage parcels so I would suggest not using it for that purpose. Use the Kanco shop round the corner they are nice in there.
2 poor experiences 1- sending parcel with yodel. Arrived 2hrs before closing to be told printer was 'finished for the day' and I had to come back tomorrow after 10am. Not really helpful when you have a job... 2- collecting parcel on a different day. Told they didn't have it. Showed them confirmation email then got sent to the back of the shop to look for it myself. Parcels everywhere on shelves, on the floor, in the public area of the shop. No help to find my parcel and I could have taken anyone's!
Parcels are a complete mess. Stop doing them or sort it out.
Well stocked but not great collection point for eBay returns. I don't recommend for returning your parcels. I never got a confirmation email after member of shop staff scanned it with his phone. Couldn't receive the refund because of this.
Arranged for parcel delivery at this store near my work. Didn't get a text from them advising it was ready although tracker said it was delivered 2 days earlier. Door was locked and when opened, staff member very unwelcoming and claimed didn't have the item. He then found it when I advised it has been signed for. No interest at all - don't think he wanted to be there. I would advise you not to use this collection point.
Do not come here to deposit money. The people here charge a fee of £1 for every £100 deposited. We suggest you go elsewhere to deposit your money, the people here are charging a premium.
Decently stocked convenience store, owner really helpful, especially regarding eBay 'click & collect' service. Has big 'Aero' bars at just £1 too ;
I have been a customer of this store for a while. I am very happy with new owners, very nice people. The store is brand new easy to find things. Recommend everyone who lives locally to shop here.
