Left a DPD parcel with a phone for return to carphone warehouse here last friday. It's been stolen by the staff or owner. Never scanned again and now I have to wait weeks for a replacement. Advise your staff Police will be round to investigate and the phone imei will be cancelled so useless.
07 June 2024: Same guy, didn't want to serve me again. Gets to my turn in the queue, then he lets someone burst in and push in, both of them acting like nothing just happened, then he walks back to the till starts humming and acts like i'm not even there at all. I say "Hello?" and he's like "Yeah, when i'm ready" I had two parcels to collect and he told me to just get them myself off the floor. He didn't ask for the barcodes, he just wasn't interested. What is he being paid for? Been in this shop a hundred times and have always been totally monsosyllabic Hi, Thanks, Please and polite. Maybe it's just white people you hate? It's so irrational. 30 Dec 2023, AM. Guy working today, didn't even want to serve me, pretended like I wasn't even waiting there. No-one else in the shop. So rude.
This is -1 star btw. Dont send your parcel there as you will never see it! Booked a collection service from this shop without reading the reviews. Anyway, my fault. Got a package delivered there, just to be told 1.5 hours after delivery when I went to collect it that no parcel arrived. The person in the shop was rather rude which put me off. When I showed him proof - photo taken by courier then he changed his mind to say 'they returned it'. When I challenged him to ask why photo was taken and why the tracking still says delivered then he couldnt explain. They are honestly ridiculous and I think they lied to me and kept my parcel so my best advice is to avoid them at all cost as they will only cause you lots of hassle, wasted time and money.
Ordered an eBay click and collect here, then saw the Google reviews when checking the address and had a mild panic - this was completely unfounded though, smooth collection and my parcel was successfully requisitioned. Would collect again.

Wouldn't even give them half a star The woman manning the shop was extremely unprofessional and rude to me simply for asking questions. We visited on 21/12/2020 at around 10.30 am, she said my prepaid parcels would not scan. Yet this is the shop DHL directs you to for Worldwide Air parcels After having been redirected to another shop who couldn't take my parcel either but unlike the 'News and Views' person were polite, I went back to find out what was wrong with the system and what I could do. At this point the woman basically lost her mind and started yelling at me, being extremely rude. This went beyond your normal grumpy sales worker rudeness. Cramped tiny shop with no social distancing enforcement and the rudest service staff I have ever encountered. Avoid at all costs!
Had a parcel delivered to this shop to pick up in store had all the ID I needed my bank card and passport and most off all the order number for the item he then said the order number was wrong and I said no its right one he then started to get anoyed and argresive so we had to leave the store and I never got my parcel. I would not recommend getting anything sent to this shop its too much hassle
Horrible shop!! They have refused to take my parcel and send it back to the seller for no reason. It was within the 15kg weight limit and the size was only medium. Can not contact shop as the phone number displayed on google is a London based number, when I rang them they hang up on me soon as I said what I am looking for. This is what the tracking show: "The receiver states the product was not ordered and has refused the delivery." DO NOT use them!!!!
Dropped off my parcel 5 days ago, when dpd driver arrived there to pick it up person in a shop told them that there is nothing to pick up. I was in a shop and they told me that they don't have my parcel. In a system is still confirmed at dpd pickup shop. Looks like I need to involve police in it.
Pop in regular to collect parcels and buy a few bits and bobs. Great opening hours, and the staff are always friendly.
