It's ok. Very nice choc and pistachio cookie but the flat whites were big and really milky. Could do with some extra coffee machines as the staff were struggling on just the one machine. Would have eased the queue.Food: 4/5
Handsome North American style building with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating plus a cosy wood burner for the colder months. Right next to the car park which is free for members but £1.50 per hour or £5 for the whole day and nothing in-between unfortunately. Menu is very National Trust pleasant but safe nor cheap but you expect that so can't complain - coffee is decent and good sized cup. Great park next to it for kids of all ages. Gets very busy during peak times so come early if you can especially if you just want a coffee etc. Lunch is served between 12-3 though. Kid-friendliness: Lots of wooden highchairs by the entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible toilet and other toilets across the path from the cafe itself - slightly annoying if it's raining I suppose.
Very nice national trust cafe. The staff were super helpful. We came for breakfast but they only had sweet offerings and the kind lady offered to make a toasted sandwich for us! It was very nice too. Lovely coffee and pleasant surroundings
Always a lovely cafe stop. Today's visit was after a delightful walk around the park. Recommended are the sourdough toasties. Staff very friendly and obliging. Surroundings lovely.Food: 5/5
Lovely coffee and cheese scone after our walk. Dog friendly :-Food: 5/5
Typical good quality National Trust food and drink . Clean restaurant with helpful staff. Parking: Free for NT members. Just remember to scan your membership card at the parking machine and put the ticket on your dashboard. Kid-friendliness: Situated next to the play area. You can sit on the decking watching your children.
I met friends here for coffee but didn't eat on this occasion. Dogs are allowed and the coffee is good.Service: 5/5
Food usual NT sky high prices. This is normally acceptable because the food is generally good. The Park Café food was however pretty poor. The ham and water cress sandwich I had was on limp almost wet white bread. Tasted like it had been stored overnight in a freezer and had just finished defrosting.Food: 1/5
Very good place for meeting up with family and friends, particularly if they are NT members. This time was a little disappointing as Cornish pasties are only available in the Stables cafe and the baguette that I had was rather dry. Drinks and the toasted sandwiches were good.Food: 4/5
Always lovely staff, a warm fire and great coffee.Food: 5/5
