I have nothing negative to say about this site. Its clean, well presented and good facilities. The cabin has electric and a heater. I'm not convinced 4 could comfortably share this cabin with all the camping equipment as well. I was travelling alone with my dog and felt that was a good space for us. Great location as only 7 minutes to the beach. I will definitely be returning
Outside my pod was completely flooded after heavy rain, was moved to a different pod the staff helped however they could only fit so much of our belongings into their van so me and my partner had to carry the rest to the car whilst being in ankle deep dirty water, there was then a wait to get the key to the new pod whilst we were cold dirty and soaking wet. We came with our service dog who is clearly marked as one yet we still had to continuously argue with staff to be let inside with him. We had staff muttering under their breath at us and others telling us what we should buy for the dog so everyone would know he’s a service dog even tho it’s in big capital letters across his harness. We didn’t even want to return to the shop due to how the staff treated us. We were constantly made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, when informing reception of this at checkout they gave a half arsed apology and said they would pass on the message, this didn’t fix or make up for anything we had endured during our holiday. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay here especially if u have a service dog of any kind.
Went here with my partner and kids. Love the 8 berth caravan. Very clean tidy and one of the best holiday caravan. Just wish had hot tub as the others did and looked amazing.. Was very good price. But just want to say I would pay extra 100+ if hot tube was added .Rooms: 5/5
Accommodation was OK, clean and comfortable. Everything else was quite disappointing. Very basic kids outdoor play area where two chaps had decided that smoking weed was appropriate, and there was broken glass at the base of some of the equipment. Food in Badgers bar was cheap pub grub made to look fancier than it was but evening entertainment was enjoyable. We were left waiting for hours to checkout because they forgot about us. Overall, not somewhere I'd rush back to. Walkability: You'll have to drive in order to see anything of interest off site.
Much improved since we last stayed 2 years ago! We booked a lodge, it was situated on the new area of Pinewood, the lodge was beautiful and clean, the plum bread and jam that were left was lovely. The reception staff were helpful when we needed them, checking in and out was easy enough, have to pay a deposit now on arrival, but we don't really mind that. Not a bad location, 5 mins drive to the beach area, lovely town of Louth about 30 mins drive away if you fancy going out for a meal. The onsite shop and arcade is quite good, the badgers barn is ok, could be improved, food we had was all ok except missing items from menu and then sending chocolate ice cream with desserts instead of vanilla as stated without informing us. Its a bit better quality food than say wetherspoons but quite highley priced I thought for what it was. But its ok i guess. We were disappointed that there was no entertainment in the showbar except Friday and Saturday nights, we booked Saturday to Saturday so didn't work for us as we do not usually go out on the first night as we like to give the dog time to settle before being left and we do not go out on the last night as have to check out and drive back home. But we really loved the progress they have made on the park since 2 years ago and we will definitely return, I just hope they increase entertainment throughout the rest of September in future as other parks tend to do so. Hope to see even more improvements as we plan to return in a years time.
Great place to visit. Beautiful caravans. Lovely location. Superb 9 hole golf course. A really nice club house with good value food. Only 2 miles from Mablethorpe. Will be coming again very soonRooms: 5/5
We spent 4 days here just before Halloween this year. We found it to be a lovely site, nicely spaced out where our caravan was sited. The van was nice and clean, the only minus was that when it rained it didn't seem to drain well from the roads leaving everywhere quite muddy. Loved the amusement and entertainment areas, and the staff were great with the children. Bingo was good, the staff worked hard but were shattered, I think as it was the end of the season.Food and shop were fine and the lady in the cafe was very friendly and polite. Would definitely go back again.
Such a lovely site. Excellent staff. Very friendly. Caravan was perfect. We went for breakfast in the cafe really good value for money. We had a carvery sunday. AMAZING. Fresh veg big fluffy yorkshire puds. All brillaint. We went to the showbar. Excellent singer. We both loved it. Will definitely be coming again with my hubby and dogs. The only downside was the shop was a bit bare. Nearby activities: It was the end of season but the singer at showbar was brilliant. Safety: I had no worries about safety. I even went for a late night walk. I went and sat by one of the lakes late at night. No bother felt very safe and incredibly tranquil Food & drinks: Excellent cafe and amazing food at the badgers bar. Especially the carvery
Almost perfect. Booked through Hoseasons took a platinum lodge out, on first impressions it's absolutely perfect but there is a few hidden lurking surprises to be aware of. Reception staff are very cold, no enthusiam, no enjoy your holiday they don't seem to care whether you are coming or going, almost as if they don't like their jobs in fact, there is a £50 safety deposit which is in tiny text that you have to dig for in Hoseasons, which was unexpected but fine, Check out is between 9-10am which is really feels quite sharp, you have to strip all the bedding too and you have to get "checked out" which feels very big brotherish, they will actually walk around to make sure you haven't damaged anything before you can leave and get the deposit back, never mind about holiday but very 'criminal' feel to it which is hypocritical as the 'Platinum Lodge' we stayed in was actually dirty, we found a broken fake nail on the floor, a receipt from a butchers which was 2 months old, bottle lids down the side of the beds, wee stains on the wall next to the toilet and it was dusty and fly's buzzing around when we arrived, there was also some old jelly babies stuck under one of the guest beds. In one of the guest bedrooms the lights weren't working and the electricity was cut off at 9:25 the morning we were leaving half way through trying to have some quick breakfast before leaving. When we checked out, I got asked was everything okay and I said very unenthusiastically it was okay, at which point I'd have expected suprise, no surprise at all so it's clearly a common thing. for the money if you are after luxury, definitely go elsewhere as a butlins chalet is probably cleaner. The positives, because there was, the site is in a good location, the hot tubs are very good, and the site does look nice, be aware that it's right next to farmers fields so it's very 'ripe' at times. Would we stay again is a tough ask.
Absolutely stunning lodge!!! The cleaning and presentation was exquisite. I didn't have to clean a single thing! I've never stayed in an accommodation like it. I could have stayed here forever! We also had complimentary daily maid service sorry if that's not what it's called. I'd come back to a spotless lodge every day we went out. They even tucked my children's teddies into their beds, I could have cried! They went above and beyond every day, even emptied the dishwasher!! I wish I could have brought them home with me. The hot tub was also cleaned daily and levels checked etc... I'd never been in a hot tub before as I'm a bit of a germaphobe... I had no fears here! I can't recommend this place enough, I really can't! There's not much to do on site, the arcades were ok though. There were a lot of big puddles but it was July 23... It rained a lot lol.
