Lovely for dog walking and family outings. Plenty of room to walk about down and up hill. There's also a flat area that is connected to the car park making it easy to access for people with mobility issues.

Great park for walking, running and cycling. Lots of room for kites too. Worth noting that the car park is pay-and-display now though.

Part of Penallta at the parks peak offering breathtaking views of the local towns of Gelligaer, Hengoed and Ystrad Mynach. Pennalta park as a whole is a fantastic place with miles of walking paths great for walking pets and to keep fit. There is also an educational centre for children to learn about local history and wildlife. Don't for get to check out the stone stories You would probably need to visit more than once as you will always discover new areas like the large ponds to the south and Sultan the giant Horse.

A beautiful, open area of land filled with picturesque sights. Have walked it countless times and always return to walk it whenever I have a lot on my mind.

Lots of space for children or dogs to run. Some flattish routes suitable for less steady walkers or those with pushchairs. Plenty of variety.
