I had the pleasure to come across this wonderful gem 3 weeks ago, and I can say with no doubt that this is beyond excellent. Not only the food is delicious, but the service is amazing, the guy helped me figuring out the best way to eat my food and advised me on new things to try to expand my experience of Korean food. I normally stick to the same thing when I like it, but I enjoyed all the new specialties he made me try. I can’t praise this place enough, I can’t wait visiting again with my friends!
We both had seafood stew, and shared kimchi and mixed veggies. Food was decent without being spectacular. Both stews came out bland but tasted better once we added salt and kimchi. They were small in size and the seafood was obviously from frozen packets. Echoing comment from another reviewer - the waitress who served us was slow, uninterested and didn’t have a great attitude despite us being only the customers in the restaurant
Lovely little find in Deptford, small but felt like authentic Korean food. Amazing flavours and generous portion. I'd definitely come back for the chicken.
Absolutely phenomenal. It was love at first bite. Make sure to have the Haemul Pajeon classic seafood pancake with a divine sauce, the bulgogi bibimbap needs no introduction was divine. Sad not to try the whole menu, but I only have one stomach. My partner’s seafood stew was also a hit. 1000% recommend.Recommended dishesHot Stone Pot Bibimbap, Seafood
I really enjoyed the dish there,specially the ox tail soup was quite difficult to find in Korean restaurants in London. I will be back next time around the area to try other dishes. We went back to it this time and was disappointed as the menu has changed to be more like a Korean fast food restaurant. My £10.5 seafood stew has hardly any seafood in it and I was still hungry afterwards. The tea also serves in a tea bag, which also changed from the past. It is really a shame. Their oxtail soup was one of the best that I had and it is no longer on the menu.
Excellent food! After watching all of those K-Dramas, just had to try it: so tasty, love it! Second time around and still great; looking forward to the third. Friendly, helpful staff. You must try it! Vegetarian options: Wife is a vegan, and she finds plenty to enjoy.
Food rocked, don't know very much about Korean food but loved everything we tried and the portion sizes were big. The fried chicken in particular was class, and the service was perfect. Thank you, and we look forward to coming back :Food: 5/5
Food. Let's begin with food. I think it is very good. The flavours are strong so it will appeal to many. There is enough choices to suit all taste. Price is fine. Our meal totalled just under £60. Prices for a dish are around £10 Service The owners..one is probably the chef and the wife is at the counter. She was quite pleasing and was quick to serve. That is the beauty of small businesses! How busy? It gets quite busy and they had to turn away customer. I guess they serve great food. Maybe they could have offered the turned down guess a take away. With covid 19, there are about 5 sets of tables. Location. We came here because we could park down the road. We came here with our kids. Had we not had parking space, we would not have been able to make it. Recommend? Absolutely!
Amazing food, amazing place and amazing customer service! When we ordered our dishes, the lady told us that it would be a lot and boyyy she wasn’t joking! The portions were massive and very filling, so you’re guaranteed to leave with a full tummy - we had like 5 takeaway containers. Can’t speak enough about how lovely the team is - the lady even gave me instructions on how to reheat my tteokbokki at home. Will deffo recommend 10/10!!
Been messing to try this local spot for ages and it's definitely a great place! Food was amazing and such great vibes! They had limited vegan options but the bento was really tasty.
