Story

Ceena specialises in sizzling Korean BBQ prepared in full view of the customer. An authentic Korean, environmentally friendly, and surprisingly healthy choice. Most of the selection is reassuringly classic: Bibimbaps (vegetables with rice served in awesomely hot stone bowls), Sea food pancakes and pungent Kimchi. The signature Galbi BBQ (marinated beef short ribs) is cooked to order on a grill at the end of the U-shaped bar counter.
With its fresh, bright décor and laid back ambience, the restaurant was designed to resemble the scene in Edward Hopper’s famous painting Nighthawks – with stools arranged around a dark wood-panelled counter. A downstairs hideaway with colourfully patterned couches caters for those who’d like quiet talks, and the takeaway menu does brisk business throughout the day.
