Not my first time visit. The first time we were directed to their new location just around the corner. This time I was at the main location yet I think service wasn’t as good as last time. It’s a bit difficult to reach a staff. The food are still great quality, I was surprised that in the seafood tofu soup there is half crab in it. Raw beef bibimbap still my recommendation. When mixing the beef is cooked to a medium rare texture, very tender. Cold noodles have ice inside, my friend says it’s authentic. What confuses me is their “no bubble tea” sign, somehow quite specific aiming at a single kind of drink and have a Chinese translation, speaking to a specific group too? I’m confused.
Best Korean food restaurant in London so far. Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Service 7/10 when you done eating they try to make you go but still are very polite Prices are very good for the amount and taste that you get. Every time spending 20-30£ but leaving the place completely stuffed.
Dinner was great, it’s a small place so it’s best to call to check if they have a table. Price is really good for what you are getting. Portions are decent. Not the most authentic Korean place but close enough. No free side dishes though, so that was disappointing. But definitely coming back
Friendly, small yet a comfortable diner! Gogopocha serves a range of delicious Korean cuisine dishes along with good selection of drinks Soju, makgeolli, milkis etc. Suitable to come with any party size but the dishes are mainly for sharing. The interior mirrors Korean style diners too, with a friendly bunch of staff! I'll be coming back when I come to the area! Beware it can get busy and you would most likely be waiting for a table the bigger your group size is.
Delicious food after a hard days work, the bibimbap comes in a hot bowl and the kimchi pancake was very tasty . A small place but cosy.
3.8 stars / 5 it could be much better. The fried squid and pork with spicy source is recommended. The bibimbap is okay. Don’t get the stew with beef - maybe get the tofu one. Because there was only a few pieces of beef and it was quite hard to chew. The ribs look pretty good but we didn’t order. In general, it was not a bad experience when it was freezing outside
Really enjoyed my impromptu meal here. Good value for money, extremely tasty, super quick and great service, nice vibes. Will definitely be back
Delicious food in a cozy little space, though there's tables big enough for groups of ~6 in the back. The staff were friendly and the food came very quickly. It was as good as any Korean food I've had in London elsewhere. There were a few vegetarian options and I really enjoyed the spicy tofu stew.Food: 5/5
it was a busy sunday evening, lots of groups eating hot pot and having a great time, good vibes all round. service was good, waiter helped with the menu and the hot pot I naively tried to serve it up before it was ready, don't do that menu highlights: kimchi pancake, hotpot obv and the pork belly. all mighty tasty.
Quick service, polite staff, smooth and easy to drink house red wine. Food is average and slightly on over priced side for the quality. But this is central London price.
